My DIY skills typically end in a trip to the ER or at least one piece of furniture that leans dramatically. But seriously, installing these was ridiculously easy. I kept waiting for the part where I'd need a PhD in advanced metallurgy, but nope. It was smooth sailing. Why was it so easy? Because the SkyStage YouTube video is the MVP. It's like having a patient, non-judgmental mechanic holding your hand through the whole process. I watched it once, paused it about a hundred times (because I have the attention span of a squirrel with a caffeine addiction), and BOOM. New brake pads. If I can do it, you absolutely can. And the durability? My old pads sounded like a flock of angry geese every time I touched the pedal. These are quiet, smooth, and feel rock solid. They're so durable, I'm pretty sure they'll outlast the rest of my car (and probably me). Works good for what I needed it for no squealing or squeaking after use just gotta break them in a couple times by slamming on brakes put them on my 20 inch electric bike about two weeks ago and they’re still holding up just fine and make no noise and I have 3 extra for when these get worn down should be a good while before I need to do that tho would buy if your looking for a cheap Quality fix for your hydraulic disc brakes ... show more

My bike is one of the cheaper ones that you can get on Amazon. I mainly got it just to use while we are out camping. From the start the OEM brakes were very noisy and I didn't trust them too much.
