Assembly was fairly well described in the instructions, and took me about 1 hour per unit (you have to fill the base with sand and either water or windshield wiper fluid). This thing is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I’m soooo so so so happy with this purchase! We had a bit of trouble getting it to start at first, but my hubbs is a bit of a handyman and figured out a solution quickly! Works great now!!

    • Heat out put is very poor
The heater looks great. Good material quality, but heat out put is very poor even on maximum. We cannot feel the heat even two feet away. We put this unit on our deck and it was 45F outside. You can not feel the heat 5 feet away like most of the people review here or as advertised. If I could return this easily i would get the Golden Flame 46,000 BTU [XL-Series] instead. The XL reviews are promising. The unit already assembled so i'll just keep it even though the return date is still available. It is almost $600 with the cover. I guess i'm stuck with this for a long time. If you plan to buy it for good look then go for it. Stay away if you want a good heat source like i do. ... show more

Best purchase for our AZ patio. Honestly, these are more for aesthetic purposes vs efficient. The propane tanks run out FAST and we don't keep them running all the time. That's using it full blast, so to be expected I guess. I really love the look and feel of them though. We bought two. The directions are terrible, and took a long time to assemble, BUT the second one went crazy fast! Well worth the price and so happy we bought them vs spending a 1000.00 on each of them. ... show more

Great heater - I assembled this heater in about 45 mins. Only thing I had to purchase was the hose that goes from my Natural Gas bib on my house to the unit. I've read a lot of comments that the instructions are difficult and holes were missing - Not with this unit - Love it!

We live in Florida and so we were looking forward to having a nice space heater for our backyard. We purchased this heater a year ago (in October 2022) and only used it last winter season. We just tried to use it again on Thanksgiving (in 2023) and the valve wouldn’t work. My husband took the valve apart and it still would not work. We only got to use this heater a handful of times last season and already it doesn’t work. For the amount of money spent, this is really disappointing. ... show more
