This set comes with everything you need to get started. I’m not a tattoo artist, but I enjoy learning different techniques and drawing on the practice skins, and I've tried a few different kits now. This kit includes everything you need to get started, including cartridges for lining and shading. It took a minute to figure out how to get the battery pack set up to the proper settings to run the machine, but once I did, the remaining adjustments and fine-tuning were fairly easy. The gun has an adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're trying to learn how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins (included) and intermittently shading in some faded spots on decades-old tattoos to try it out on actual skin. The included practice inks are vibrant and show true-color shading on practice skin. I was easily able to mix some skin-grade ink (not included) in the included ink cups. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch. The machine is ergonomic, easy to handle, and steady. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone who wants to explore tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Plenty of ink, cartridges, and skins to practice many different styles and applications.

Wormhole Tattoo Gun Kit Complete Tattoo Kit This kit come with a few basic supplies; enough to give you a taste to see I you might be interested in pursuing the craft further. The provided 1mm thick fake skins provided are for most purposes insufficient for realistic training purposes. A test skin should be at least 3mm thick to help beginners practice proper depth control. The machine is a decent one. It has a 4mm stoke, so it should be . I used it on 3 separate tattoos during my testing, both with battery and powered by my power supply. Annoyingly, the kit comes with only one battery, if you do not own a power supply, you'll have to stop working when your battery requires charging...certainly not very professional. It has a nice design & is comfortable to use. It has needle depth adjustment, but lacks stroke adjustments. If you are only curious about the art of tattoo, this will make a decent starter kit. If you already know you want to get into tattooing, I would recommend getting a machine that has an adjustable stoke,, so you can achieve the best possible lifework. 3.5 stars. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible

For the sub 50 dollar price range this machine is amazing. It is crazy quiet it has an incredible feel a different liok then a lot of machines i love that it has an rca type connection so you can swap batteries at any time and there are many brands to choose from. It starts out with a ver nice black ready for skin work the colored inks i would stay to practicing qith. The battery has a great time range on ot and the machine lays down ink super smooth a must have beginner machine.

I haven't tried this yet, mainly because I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. I need to do more research before I mess up. But I do love how much comes with this. It has just about everything you need. I would've added practice material with it but it's still worth the price. It looks and feels like something you'd see in a tattoo shop. I'm excited to try this thing out when I feel more comfortable doing so.

A decently outfitted tattoo kit. The Pen itself is a bit thin for my tastes and is more like the style used for permenant makeup, but it will work. Issues beyond size are that the needle depth has no detents, and is just a free-spinning ring. That can lead to problems and drift in operation, so I prefer an instrument with positive click detents. Other notable problems, the battery connection is noticeably loose and while it funcitons it almost feels as if it would fall out if turned upside down. As a test, I held it upside down and wiggled it gently and sure enough - the battery falls right off the gun. Accessories are pretty standard. There is a giant bottle of black ink, but a skimpy number of color inks. You also get ink cups of various sizes, transfer paper, fake skin, gloves, two small sample packs of needles, and a single packet of A&A ointment. For a beginner set, it's not bad to get you started.

Comes with everything to get started. I actually didn't notice this in the listing but it comes with artificial skin to practice on. Definitely get for beginners like my self. Unfortunately, there is no way to connect the battery pack or control the pen (pedal) so it's basically worthless unless you already have those things. EDIT: I'm dumb. I was trying to install the battery on the wrong side of the pen. Thankfully customer service was patient and helpful. They helped me troubleshoot and everything works flawlessly.

I didn't think it was a good idea for a couple of 14 year old girls to do real tattoos. They used the unit on artificial skin and also used a separate set of pens made for the tattoo machine Pretty clever and included everything. Good starter kit but for me I don't think I would try giving myself a tattoo.
