This is the second treadmill I have purchased from Amazon. First one lasted only 4 months (different brand from this one) so I was impressed with the reviews on THIS one. Arrived on time in good condition. I did have to hire someone to assemble it for me(I'm too old to do that anymore). It does take some time to assemble. It is very well made. Seems to be very accurate in tracking time, miles and speed and I do like being able to track heart rate as well. But the biggest selling point for me are the long extended handles. It offers great stability for someone over 70. I don't hold too tightly but just enough to keep me stable. The one thing I do have a problem with is the slight incline which you cannot adjust. It's probably only 1-2% but it's enough to cause me lower back pain unless I make a conscious effort to stand as straight as possible while walking on it. The incline might be a problem for someone. I do wish I could adjust it to just a level plane but you do get a better workout. I found that I have to start with much shorter walks maybe several times a day and built up to my usual 3 miles a day until I adjust to the incline. This was quite a bit more pricey that the first one I bought but the build quality is much better. Have not tried to fold this as it is in a space where I don't have to so can't speak to the east of doing that. Over all I am very pleased and think this will last a long time. As a 71 yr-old with Rheumatoid Arthritis, this treadmill is perfect for me. Customer service with this company was incredible! During assembly we noticed 1 of the locking knobs had a defect in the threading. Rec'd an answer to my inquiry for solution to the problem in just a few hours! All they required was a pic of the part in question and a replacement was sent. Since the company is headquartered overseas, I never expected such a quick turn-around time in the replacement. Very impressed. Advice to future purchasers: Watch the video recommended on the back page of the instruction manual as the manual itself is slightly confusing! ... show more

    • For seniors, I finally found IT! Redliro Treadmill JK1608L - Well worth the price!
This treadmill is perfect for older seniors. It is really secure and you just start and slowly hit the speed up button until you get the desired stride. It feels very sturdy and comfortable. It is on a bit of an incline, but there is no adjustment and that works for me. It has programs, but I fear it may go to fast if I choose one of those, so I will be leaving that to my son and daughter who require a stronger workout than I at 69 years of age with some age related issues. I don't or couldn't find the actual instruction manual for this one though, which is a bit disappointing, but likely not needed for myself anyway. ... show more

We are very pleased with this purchase. Assembling was straight forward - just follow and pay attention to details like the orientation of the washers etc. All the functions such as speed control and displays for speed, time, calorie count are easy to view. I was pleasantly suprised that this treadmil even displays the heart beat by simply holding the metal on the hand rails. The long rails and low height definetely helps one feel much safer compared to typical trreadmils with short handles and higher platforms.     • There is an INCLINE! Not a flat surface as described
I have only had the product for a couple days. It is very nice and sturdy and the handlebars were a good height for me at 5"8" (about 34-35 inches high from the walking surface). So far I am very happy with the quality. The descriptions about the incline being adjustable or flat are incorrect. There is a 2 inch difference between the front and the back. This makes a big difference for us older adults with less strength or joint issues etc. The company was very responsive to my email about this issue. My solution to the problem is to try to place some rubber treadmill mats under the back feet. I ordered Luwint 4 inch square mats and i'm hoping these will solve the issue. ... show more
