It's not a walking pad you could push under a couch but it's still compact enough you could use in small spaces. It fold UP to move out of the way. Perfect size, compact. starts at .5 mph, padded bars easy to hold, backlit display is easy to read. Used for stroke rehabilitation. User is 5'8 and feels safe. That was important because she was scared on the Nordictrac we have due to a start speed of 1 mph and the short, fat handles were hard for her to wrap her hands around. Easy to assemble. Been using it for 2 months with no issues. Only thing it lacks is foldability. If you need to store it under a bed, it needs to be taken apart. The deck lifts up but it is so you can set the manual incline. The frame remains on the floor and side bars dont fold. Its light enough to move around easily and has rollers so we just scoot it in the corner if we want to use the space. Very happy with this. Low price. Delivered fast. Would recommend ... show more

This was the perfect treadmill for days when walking outside is too difficult or if you have bad joints that need cushioning while walking. I have had my treadmill for 30 days now and have used it most days. It is small and extremely quiet and smooth running. Since it is space saving and can be moved easily (if we have guests), I placed in a corner of my family room to be able to watch TV while using it. Being in my 70’s now makes me appreciate the safety bars which were a big deciding factor for me. As we age, our balance is not always the best, especially on a moving machine. The bars do not get in the way when I want to pump my arms for a few minutes at a time. I am sorry I waited so long to make this purchase! ... show more

The parallel bars are the most helpful as I need to rest some of my weight on my arms. I almost bought a cheaper version without the parallel bars. That would have been mostly useless. Quality made. Nice little treadmill, as I am getting older found myself falling when I walk and I love going for walks but don’t like falling. This machine is not heavy, not like the ones in the gym but if you want a treadmill to get your heart rate up and doing so safely this is the treadmill for you.
