This skateboard works very well. It is actually easier to ride than the customized one that we got at the local store. Specifically, the wheels seem to have a lot of give when riding over small twigs and bumps. The board has a nice amount of flexibility and is not too stiff. My daughter (11) bought this skateboard for herself because she wanted to learn to skateboard. She loved the board! But, after using it a few times we realized that the fact that it drifted to the left was not user error but because the front trunk was installed a little misaligned. We reached out to the seller and they took care of the issue right away - responding in less than an hour. Unfortunately, they were out of stock so couldn't replace it, so we went to a local skate shop to look at new skateboards. The guy at the shop asked to see the one we bought here. We had brought it with us. He was really impressed with the board, given the price point. He agreed the alignment was off and should be returned, but otherwise, he said it was a great board and perfect for starting out. I'm assuming, like all things, there is an occasional error made in assembling these and this is a one-off issue. If they were still in stock, we would have had them send us a replacement. If you're not totally sure about what you're buying, these guys will take care of you. I would buy from them again. ... show more

I got this for my 15 year old daughter and she says: "Easy to glide and tilt. Very smooth when using, easy to clean and doesn't damage as easily. The wheels are tightly screwed on and haven't popped off. The pattern doesn't fade. The top on the board is sturdy and have a good grip.
