Edit: I updated the video to show how clean my pool is getting. The video is sped up but it was a total of 35 mins of work. Added a collage with the total cleaning done on per session. Spent approx 30 to 40 mins per session/day in total. May 9th, uploaded picture of the pool, total time spent was under 5 hours (over several days) well worth evey penny for my new nearly crystal clear pool. Big time saver tip for assembly for cleanings: After a few uses I was able to get a rhythm down for a bag reattachment in under 30 seconds. 1. Make sure the seal that clips.to the bottom is fully aligned with no gaps before trying to reattach to the device 2. Place the pole vehicle and simultaneously lower the wheels into the grooves (make sure the handle/clip is all the way up as you do this) 3. Holding the bag portion with one hand in place, pull the latch down over the clip while making sure the bag isn't starting to move in a different direction (if it does its because the the wheels are not going into the slots at the same time just pick up and realign). After about 3 to 5 times following these steps I can clean the bag and attach in under 1 minute with ease. After a long Florida winter we had a lot of algae and pollen in our pool, we bought a couple of the auto rechargeable pier vacuums, a few with hoses connected to the pump (which clogged our filters) and a ton of shock tablets and other chemicals.. nothing worked. We charged this vacuum, from dead it only took about 45 mins to charge fully and instead of kicking up the algae to the top it actually pulled it in. A couple of tips, make sure not to turn on the device until the vents are submerged fully, otherwise the motor will burn out according to my husband, hes a senior engineer. Bubbles will come out and you know its working when you feel suction to the bottom of the pool. Ive included pictures of before and videos showing not just how well it works but also the filter where the algae goes. It says go slow, but doing that actually cleans faster. It does need to be cleaned out every couple if minutes however its incredibly simple and fast. Battery runs 60 mins so our 15ft diameter 4ft deep pool will be almost fully cleaned out before the charge runs out. I will upload another video and pic after its clean to show how long it took. I regret not buying this first, it really is the best above ground vacuum we've ever had and now we won't have to pay a fortune in filters for out pool pump. Anpther great feature is The included pole is surprisingly sturdy, and since it uses standard-size adapters, it was easy to get the reach we needed." This product probably saved us thousands over the life of the pool and easily 500 per year. (And we dont even have many trees near the pool, pollen and algae can just build very easily for many reasons) The vacuum picks up the little particles as well because the suction is incredible. Its lightweight and very easy to use.

Where has this vacuum been all my life? I no longer have to drag out the big pool hose and connect to filtration system for daily maintenance. I also now avoid having extra debris going into filtration system too! This vacuum is used daily and with great joy! I waited to write this review to make sure I had tested long enough. After 3 months of daily use, I will rate 5 stars. I have had an inground pool for over 40 years with a deep end of 9 feet. I am so please with this vacuum for its performance and ease of use. I use daily to pick up a debris that has fallen in the pool. We have a high traffic pool which I do keep pristine! I use my own expended pole to reach 9 feet areas bc the pole that comes with set is not long enough. This vacuum picks up large and small leaves, smaller debris such as bugs, sand with ease and excellent suction! It works well to vacuum steps leading into shallow end and has a long battery life. I am thankful every time I use that I researched and spent the money on this specific vacuum. I read in the reviews that someone had issues with the vacuum leaving debris when removed. Don't turn off vacuum until you have lifted from water and moved to the side. Nothing will be dropped into the pool if you follow these steps. Also, easy to clean. I place in a bucket of water or rise with hose quickly. I do take care of this vacuum and do not leave in sun. Only thing I have noticed after a few uses was the charging plug exterior is getting rusty. I am careful to let the unit dry before charging. I have had no issues with charging or life of battery so I am assuming this is not an issue internally. I will update review if I find it problematic. Last comment, I love the pink - purchased pink bc it was available more quickly but honestly it is easy is see the vacuum head underwater in pink in the deep end. Happy cleaning!

Needed a vacuum for the our above ground 15×48 pool. This one works great. We got the pink version. It picks up all of the tiny dirt particles on the bottom of the pool the skimmers can't get. Holds the charge for a good amount of time. Super easy to use and easy clean out compared to other vacuums. Have only used twice so far, but I would recommend purchasing!

No bulky hoses to pull out, doesn’t clog your skimmer basket, simple to charge, simple to use, it works neither my long skimmer pole for days that I don’t want to go in the water. 05/2025: I am a huge fan of using the handheld vacuums for pool maintenance. I have owned three different brands (in addition to pool robots). 1st: this didn't run for 60 mins. It ran for a solid 30 mins and then cut off. It was fully charged for over 24 hours, this was its first use. Docked one star for that. Because its performance was awesome and JUST what I needed. The fact that it had several different mesh bags to choose from is why I bought this vacuum in the first place. I live in Florida and, no matter how hard we try, we get sand in our pool. Its very fine sand, almost dust. The standard robot and other handhelds cannot pick it up, they just swirl it around. This handy dandy little vacuum slurped up the stuff I couldn't get!!! Yay!!! I don't expect the life of the vacuum to last years. Usually I have to replace these things once a year anyway. I saw another reviewer state that there is no place to buy the filter bags separately. I don't mind that, for one: they are reusable and washable (by hand), and two: ill definitely buy this again and will just keep the old filter bags on hand. I'll update this review if this fails over time. The 30 mins battery life does have me concerned, but it could be because I used the finest mesh filter they provided and it might need to work hard to pass water through. Overall, I like this product and would recommend. Btw, these make excellent gifts to pool owners. I promise.

It works good. It is REALLY REALLY hard to put filter on and get closed! I wanted to return it but husband said he'd deal with it, but it takes longer to get it together than it takes to vaccum and fill up. The filter is so small so it fills up fast. So have to empty ALOT! But does the job.

We had a big storm so we really put this vacuum through its paces. I filled the filter twice picking up sand, bugs and leaves. Sand and bugs were no issue. The leaves were large and it worked but I had to pick up the vacuum and set it on the leaf. Not going to complain though as I have to do the same with the skimmer vac. The vacuum gets suction quickly cutting down on overall cleaning time because getting suction back after emptying the pool filter always takes time. The other bonus is no need to backwash after which was nice since I’m having trouble keeping my conditioner up in the water. My only complaint is the pole which is only long enough to do my shallow end, but it fit my normal pole just fine.
