UPDATE: NO LEAKAGE. They do chew the wood inside but thats par for the course. Thwy are natural chewers. This was a great choice. Its been about a year and this cage is awesome. Houses 3 guubea pigs comfortably. I read the previous reviews and was worried about the urine leakage so I was proactive. I feel that because its an indoor/outdoor hutch, its made for drainage? I went to the dollar store and bought 3 outdoor doormats with the rubber backing and lined the bottom. In my experiance, most indoor/outdoor cages have that issue anyway. The bottom is a sturdy solid plastic. Spending 4 bucks on doormats is worth it. I put wood chips in the hiddies and put fleece hand towels (also bought at the dollar store) between the doormats and their pink liners (amazon) for extra absorption. The wood is pressurized so it is not cheap, it's awesome. It was easily put together, very sturdy and well made. I love how easily accessible the girls are with multiple doors and top access. The top fits nice and snug so Im not worried about the cats or any escape artists. The top has hinges on each side for easy top access as well as hinged roof openings over the hide outs . All holes/screws lined up perfectly. Make sure to fully assemble the hutch before setting up the space, dropping the screws in the hay sucked hahaha. It's definitely worth the money. I have 3 guinea pigs who are loving their new home. I'm very happy with this hutch. It's perfect for my mean girl who doesn't get along with the other girls lol. There's a divider sliding door that we modified and put a wire grate so that they can still chit chat and see each other :) ... show more

I would not recommend for bunnies they chew on the wood. Overall the design is very nice but not practical. The bottom part I have to put pee pads with the bedding and it still leaks! If it's missing a part upon delivery company will not send missing piece. We are missing a window and asked for the part and was told they don't give parts so we had to modify it because if not it was getting chewed on! ... show more

Only thing I like is it looks nice. I don't like how trays are set buns pee right out of it on the floor and on the wood and the wire under feet isn't very sturdy just sits on it and moves a lot. Next is the wood factor this hutch will not last long for how much it was paid for buns already chewed wholes everywhere it's only been up two weeks. It took us 2 hrs to build. But directions where pretty easy. If you want something that looks nice short term this is for you. If not I would not recommend at all ... show more

Really solid cage. Really nice quality wood and wire. Solid floor inside the hut then coated wire and super nice tray that pulls out on both sides. Building was really straight forward. I love it. I ordered it with the single as well and they are awesome

I do love the design and ability to separate the two sides but I don’t recommend it for inside or outside use because it leaks piss and poop all over the floor!!! And the trays are really hard to get out!! It’s not secure enough for outside (not predators proof) so it’s going in the shed until I can have a better more secure one built . Waist of money !! ... show more

This is very cute. Slightly difficult and takes 2-3 hours to build (u less ur a speed builder) but if ur a chic doing it by urself, it takes tiiime…. Overall I’d rate it 4. Not 5 because I feel like the materials should have been a little stronger. Over all it’s a decent product.

My 2 guinea pigs love it. Lots of room to run. 2 separate areas so they have their own rooms. There are many access areas to make cleaning easier
