Easy install on an ‘06 Dodge Ram 1500 that was held together by duct tape. It’s just a fact of life with these trucks, the dash is going to fall apart. Now it’s like a brand new truck.

Showed up with a corner broke off and box had huge holes in it but other than that fit great just a different texture but looks good

Okay, awesome fit and finish. It looks great once it’s done. You will need to take the vents off of your old dash and install them in this one. (Use a blow torch and a flat blade screw driver; get it hot and use it to mold the plastic mounts; when installing the vents, simply melt the stems down around the vent tabs and it will secure them to the new bezel) A little labor intensive, but well worth the upgrade to double DIN

First off, I want to note that I bought this thinking that it would come with an adaptor for a single din unit and it does not, so keep that in mind if you have a single din radio in mind. Now, for the reason I rated this at one star is the fact that the tolerances are way off on this bezel. The cigarette lighter and power port being the biggest defects as they simply loosely fit in and wiggle around, surely to make an obnoxious amount of noise on the road, not to mention they easily slip out of the sockets so unplugging anything from them will surely pull the unit out. There is also a fair amount of overspray of the silver paint. Second reason for the one star review is it does not come with it's own HVAC vents, and the ones in the stock unit are plastic welded into it. I will not even attempt to install this unit due to this requiring a skillset and tools that I do not have to separate the vents from the old unit and weld them into the new one, so I am returning this. As a side note, the finish on this is completely different from the stock one, and it happened to also get lost in shipping for a week so that just added on to the frustration of it. Due to the issues of tolerances in the build quality and the skill level required to install everything, I can not recommend this unit on a consumer level.
