The frame pieces together quickly if you take the time to read the instructions and place items in order according to their number which is printed on the pieces. There is plenty of chicken wire. It isn’t the best quality, but it will keep chickens in, although it will not keep predators like mountain lions out. Basically, you get what you pay for. This is being used as a last minute space for my meat birds because I wanted them in the middle yard closer to the house where I could watch them better. If you do not mind working for a few hours to put this together and tie down the chicken wire, then this will be for you. If you hate many pieces that require a little thought and a lot of effort, this isn’t for you. It is decent for the money. I don’t think i would recommend this for long term use.

Not bad! Directions definitely could be better, also the zip ties are not great. Get some thicker ones to attach to actual frame for added safety and the provided ones can be used to tie the chicken wire together. You’ll definitely get better as you go with the chicken wire together. I would even add a layer of hardware cloth to add extra predator proof protection. Put pavers around the base of mine so nothing can dig under it or try to break the zip ties free. I also might recommend picking up some extra chicken wire because I did not have enough with the amount provided.

We ordered the large chicken coop run for the new flock we have started. We currently have 20 hens and 2 roosters and they have plenty of room to roam in the run. They love the roosting perch and swing. You can find any of them on it at any given time. It was very easy for my husband and son to set up and is very durable. Overall, we love our new chicken coop run.

May 2026 Do not get this product!!! I got it for safety of my chickens that iz not the case now. It did not hold up to heavy rain it collasped right down the middle of the structure. Poles are very weak if it cannot hold to rain it sure cannot hold up to snow. Plus was missing couple nuts and bolts for the door. or thr door.

This chicken coop is a mixed bag, at least for our purposes. On the plus side, there's plenty of room inside for our dozen hens, rooster and guineas. You could probably have up to 15 or so if you needed to. The kit also comes with a roost which was handy. On the down side, I found the materials to generally be of very low quality. Several of the poles had dents in them out of the box and the zip ties were laughably thin. Because they're so flimsy, they simply won't last long in the hot South Texas weather. I chose to use thin guage wire instead. The chicken wire roll they provided wasn't quite enough (at least for me) to cover the entire coop. I ended up having to supplement with an extra roll from Tractor Supply. I call BS on reviewers saying they built this thing in 1 or 2 hours. I'm pretty handy with smaller projects and it still required 8+ hours spread over 3 days to construct this mess. Granted, I'm older, was working solo and have some minor arthritis issues. Nonetheless, it wasn't an easy build. The instructions provided were ok but the whole thing is just plain labor intensive. At the end of it all, my hands were pretty shredded and sore from all the wire cuts and pricks. It's impossible to wear gloves due to all the insanely small hardware. If you do decide to purchase, I'd strongly recommend getting extra help to put together. A good metric socket set and allen wrench for the dozens of nuts and bolts would also be a plus. The tools they provide are barely adequate. In sum, I think this coop will get the job done, at least in the short term, but I'm skeptical of it's long term durability.

The chicken run came very well packaged with all pcs well marked. My husband and I easily unpack and snap it together in 1 hour. It took a bit longer to put on the wire and figure out how to finish off the ends and to make sure there were no wires or tie wraps sticking out for the tarp to possibly catch on and tear. I bought this chicken run because of the extra headspace the dome shape gives it. I can walk around inside without touching my head (I'm 5'7"). My thought in buying this run, was to put our small chicken coop (for 6 chickens) inside the run but when we did, it took up way too much space. We ended up taking the chicken coop out of the run and putting it outside, alongside each other, where we cut a hole in each, the wire and a door in the coop, so the chickens could pass between the two. This worked out after all. I didn't use the climbing ladder because I was afraid the chickens would end up roosting on them overnight, leaving a big mess in the run, when they already were used to sleeping in the coop since they were chicks, where there is a drawer under their roosting bars that I can just pull out and clean. Maybe when they get older Ill add the ladder, I know they would just love it. The only thing I would do different, would be to get a bigger size run. All the wire, pipes, and hardware are of good quality. All the tools you need are included, they even include a pair of gloves. I would definitely buy from this company again! Very satisfied!

if you have trouble putting it together, you are not alone. i referred to the pictures on amazon and zoomed in. the instructions they give you are useless. other than that, very sturdy, looks and works great!
