Coop is great. Put together easy and no issues. The shipping on the other hand was a complete nightmare. Over two weeks late, the company lost it and couldn’t find it in their own warehouse. And I still had to drive 2 hours to the warehouse to go get it bc after it already being two weeks late they told me I had to wait another week for delivery bc they only served my area on Tuesday. And it was Monday. So I asked why can’t it be delivered tomorrow then and there excuse was it’s a two man delivery and we only have one man tomorrow. So to save it from being three weeks late I got it myself. Hope amazon never used that company again. ... show more

I was skeptical on the quality as I reside in Montana and we have HARSH winters. I have to say that I am so impressed with how well it is built and structured! I have 13 chickens and they all fit perfectly! We have reached 30 below so far and they have been warm and dry in this coop! I highly recommend! First of all, whoever "LL" is needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!" LL" inspected everything and said it was okay. However that's not what we found. The inside floor was painted red, also the silver insulation on the inside of the roof was painted red. That's not how it was supposed to come. The right corner trim next to the man door was cut to short, not matching the other corners. There was one corner damaged during shipping because the way it was packaged. The guys who delivered it said they had never seen any package so poorly. There is white paint all over the black hinges. We also bought the automatic door opener and it was supposed to fit right between the studs,well it did not, the stud had to be moved 1 1/8" at the top and an 1/8" on the bottom to make it fit. I think the Amish would be ashamed of the chicken house sent to us. I expected it to come as it was shown on line, but it did not! ... show more

Very poor shipping and handling. Between text message, confirmation link, and Amazon app- I had 3 different times for delivery date/time. Unable to track and prepare for its arrival. Upon arrival, the delivery guys did not know how to get it off the truck. After looking at other delivery pictures, it is clear ours was shipped incorrectly flat on its side and not standing up like it should have been. As far as assembly goes, it took a couple hours. The marks on the floor did not line up the walls correctly so we could not use those. The walls did not slide together on corners nicely, forcing the trim pieces to pull apart. There are some gaps that we will need to cover. Will need to be re-caulked. Added screws to reinforce all pieces that were stapled, as the staples all came out. The preset screws did not align with the roof studs at all. The lock handle on the nesting boxes doesn't actually prevent the cover from being opened. Only came with 1 roost bar. Overall it's a little disappointing to pay so much money for a product and still run into so many issues. After we finish making the many repairs needed, it should be a good coop that will last some time. ... show more

This is my second one. These are easy to put together and are very sturdy. I’ve bought much cheaper ones in the past and they fall apart and wildlife can get in with a little effort. My babies are safe in these coops.

I was super excited to get this “high quality“ coop (using the word Amish in their ad) When it arrived, as I unpacked it, I noticed the packing was very minimal. Then I discovered that three of the six panels were damaged. I called immediately to have it returned. As I returned it to its pallet, I realized all the walls were particleboard, painted on the outside, but bare on the inside. It would be a matter of months before rain would ruin this particleboard and the coop. One star is one too many for this rating ... show more

To start, I did not buy from Amazon. I purchased this product direct from the OverEZ web site. I have to say that all of the comments I saw were very positive. Not sure if the assemblers of my coop had a bad day or not but I was very disappointed in its construction. First, the most obvious issue, one of the chicken rails (lower one specifically) had one of its 2 notches on the wrong side of the support. The top one was fine, it was the lower one that was on the opposite side. Had to hack out a notch myself. Additionally, automatic door I purchased did not fit into door frame. The frame was about 1/2 inch too narrow. Had to chisel the frame to fit the door. Furthermore, many of the screws that were partially drilled into the frame were bent when I extracted them to make adjustments. From the surface the screws looked fine. To me this indicates they were bent when installed. Several other issues were encountered, but I only listed the top few. The construction process of the coop seemed to be done by separate teams with little or no coordination between them. It is not unreasonable to expect an automatic door they sell to fit in a coop they build. Poor quality control as far as I can tell. The design is good, so I don't blame the Amish, just the poor assembly. For the $$, I expected better. ... show more
