    • A Good Coop, but needs some Engineering Help
All in All the Coop went together well, but it could use a few things that would make putting it together & planning for its final location much more easy. First, a Dimenions sheet would have been very helpful. The 39" width includes the egg collection box. The actual coop base is much smaller. The 87" length include the small roof overhang. Second, a few more designed fasteners would be a good idea. A few items we merely stapled in not screwed in which in time would fail in actual use. The design however is quite good & the Coop is nice and compact. Can't wait to put our chickens in it. ... show more

    • Not for more than 3-4 chickens max!!!
I was looking for a coop that could hold our six young chickens (average size) found this one said could hold 4 to 8. No it cannot! Our six chickens can’t even lay downNd the run, it is so small and they can’t even walk around unless you put up the ramp to the coop itself. The run is not as big for more than a few chickens! I will be selling it and getting another brand! ... show more

If I hadn't of known someone skilled it would have been returned, otherwise I love it. Plus the picture made the height of the run look so much taller.

The wood is a softer wood so it’s easily moved. The floor didn’t have anything securing it so we used our own screws and attached it. Was simple to put together. It took about 2 hours. We also used caulk to prevent any drafts on the inside of the coop.

    • Not quite as large as I expected
The delivery came in 2 boxes almost 1 week apart causing me to think I had received a faulty product or partial delivery. If the pieces were numbered it would help with assembly.

    • This is WAY smaller than the photo indicates.
The coop itself is nice but as others have said it is VERY small. A full grown adult (and I am only 5' 1") is not walking in this coop, if you have children then you are all good, they can fit in there. I was very disappointed with the size and if you have full grown hens, good luck having more than four in there. I am disappointed with how much we paid for this and how small it is. The only reason I didn't return it is because our other coop is falling apart after 4 years and we needed a coop to temporarily hold our hens. ... show more

I didn’t read the reviews like others and expected this to but much bigger. They really should update the photos to give people an idea of how big this actually is, however it was super easy to put together. Im gonna raise diddles out of it and move them as they grow to a much bigger coupe but I love the design and the smell of this wood.     • Smaller and not very sturdy construction
Coop arrived really quick and ahead of schedule. Packaging was damaged, but the inside contents were not damaged. We built the coop that night and during assembly we found that the box include two right side coop walls. I did not request a new left side wall, but instead just made new one since we are going to paint the coop a different color. The wood is clearly the soft Chinese wood that breaks fairly easily. Like other reviews the coop is really small compared to the pictures so pay attention to the dimensions. I knew before ordering, but still was surprised that it looks tiny for 6 chickens. I built a sled to put the chicken coop on so we could move it about yard, because it wasn't sturdy enough to move in the grass without 3/4 thick boards used around the bottom. Overall it looks super cool and with a little reinforcement the coop should do fine for our needs. I'm going to add support pieces around the base to strengthen the bottom for predator protection ... show more
