Easy to use, heat pretty consistent, doesn't take a lot of space, love the pull-out tray, and a sleek design. I read every review I could before purchasing this unit and the main negative of this unit most users stated was the pressure issue. I purchased Heat Press Pillows & used them with this press and I haven't had any issues with pressure at all. To alleviate the "short cord" issue, I used a heavy duty major appliance power strip (12 or 14 gauge) and plugged into outlet where it's the solo cord, and no problems with power. The power strip can be toggled off so I don't have to see the "blinking" light of the power button on HTVRont. I even pressed a couple of XL & XXL Hoodie Sweatshirts and they came out great (I did have to flip the sweatshirt around the platen to figure out the best spot, and that was placing the sweatshirt sideways and placing a press pillow inside) HTV turned out great! ... show more

So far it’s working good! I haven’t had any problems with figuring it out. I was nervous at first after buying it but after a few projects I felt more comfortable using it. The temperatures are accurate it’s very easy to use. I love it I’m happy with this purchase !

Overall this press is working really well for vinyl and sublimation transfers. Having no issues so far 2 months in and it still working like it's out of the box. Since the pressure is not adjustable, this will have issues with DTF transfers. I tried to adjust temperature, timing, and even added some heat transfer pads to help increase pressure, but no luck on getting consistent results. This press is great for everything else. Need to DTF transfers? Then look for a manual press. ... show more

    • This Press Is A Pleasure To Use!
This press arrived today I've tested sublimation on microfiber towels of varying thicknesses, twist fans, neoprene chapstick holders, silk sleep masks, a baby jumper, and a drawstring bag. Many people have complained about the pressure of this machine. I have found that this has alleviated excessive pressure and guesswork for some of my items that I've struggled getting consistent settings on. It doesn't have super strong pressure, but it's been enough for the items I've done so far. I have compensated for some of the pressure "issues" so far by increasing my cook time, not with using additional pads or upping the temperature. I still need to test ceramic coasters and larger items and don't often do vinyl, so I'll need to test that as well, but my products have turned out very well so far with no concerns. I LOVE the automatic lowering and pressure release functions. I'm enjoying the consistent pressure, though is love to upgrade to something with valuable pressure with a pressure readout someday. My previous press did NOT hold the temp steady between presses, so this machine feels like a miracle. LOL ... show more
