My water tasted so bad, it was like drinking out of a garden hose! Also you could smell the chlorine in the water. The city always missed testing the drinking water, so I never used the water to drink. I always bought bottled water, or got water from a water vending machine at the store. One day I noticed they were working on the vending machine and they were just changing the filters inside. I figured if the water I was buying was just filtered city water, I would get a water filter myself. This one works great. The difference in the taste of the water is amazing, so now, my son can get his water from me instead of the vending machine, and I don't have to worry about bad tasting water with harmful minerals or other things in it. It was easy to hook up too, so I didn't have to get my son to do it for me. And I won't have to change the filter for 3 to 5 years.

Added this to the water system and wow, what a difference. The chemical smell and taste are completely gone!!! Water actually taste good! Installation was super easy too. Definitely recommend this since with such a high volume 22000 gallon, you won’t even have to change it that often. And the price is definitely awesome.

We just remodeled our full upstairs old bathroom & my wife wanted to include a fresh water filter along with the new vanity, marble counter & sink in this 118 yr old house. It looks great as I used a single handle faucet with this water spout along side it (plenty of room). The 'spout' swivels for ease of use & it looks fantastic & works great. It had detailed instructions & was easy enough to mount inside the vanity - we love that the filter is good for several years. Over all this was the best value we found anywhere - top quality for what we needed & the water tastes GREAT! Very happy. I included a photo of the spigot & faucet.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this unit that was recommended from a friend who has the exact model. Very easy to install and functions perfectly. This unit claims to be effective for approximately 22,000 gallons over the lifetime of the filter. However, I plan to replace the unit annually, in any event. A note to prospective buyers: Let the unit run about 100 gallons of water before first use. (Diections say 10 gallons BUT that's not enough to eliminate the "filter taste" from the product. 100 gallons will do the trick, however.

I moved into a new home with a lovely basement kitchenette. Having that is super convenient, but since there's no full size fridge, there's no filtered water. Didn't want to drill a hole into the countertop. We mostly use the sink to fill water bottles or coffee pots, so no real need for separate filtered and unfiltered water there. But could definitely taste the difference between the water from this sink, and the filtered water from the fridge upstairs. Got this kit. It was quick and easy to install, took me about 10 minutes, and that's mostly because I was futzing to figure out the best location to put the cannister that would take up the least space in the small cabinet. Turned the water on, and could see the initial gray "flush" from the filter. Very pleased with the water pressure, it didn't change much at all from before when it wasn't filtered! Water tastes fine now, which was the goal. Very happy!
