This is great! No more losing hair. No more dry, flaky skin. It was a fairly easy setup to our shower. I just needed to get an adapter from Lowes for the outflow side. You may notice that the handle strap has another connection. I forgot to put the handle strap ring on the outflow connector, so I cheated to avoid taking it off. It had a small leak under the top. Customer service was so nice. The sent me a new head in a flash. Very responsive to make sure I was taken care of.

Had this for a couple years now. Still works very well and most importantly, it’s easy to get salt into. I had previously bought the supposedly number one best seller, I won’t name the brand with the blue colored tank, and while it still works well(I use two so that I can alternate them back-and-forth to drastically shorten my water downtime), it is extremely hard to get salt into. In my opinion, this NP global works just as well, is less money, and less hassle.

This unit works pretty well. We have a dishwasher and it used to leave lots of spots but not anymore! Plus no more hard water stains on the shower head or door. The water source makes a big difference on how often you need to regenerate it, when we were in South Dakota the water was very hard and I had to regenerate it about once a week. In Colorado the water was nowhere near as hard and I’ve been using it a month without having to regenerate. I bought some hard water test strips to monitor the hardness so I know when it needs regeneration and I highly recommend doing that. I test once a week. I didn’t have any leaks like some others have reported, I made sure to use Teflon tape on all the connections. I wish it had another pair of quick connect fittings but otherwise it’s been great so far.

FANTASTIC water softner! I live in very hard water area and this softner was perfect right out of the box. The additional supplies are a bonus. It installed in minutes and was very easy. If I can do it ANYONE will be able to install. Within 24 hours (it worked right away but got better) the water tested as perfectly soft (bought test kit separately) and made a huge improvement. Taste, smell, and water softness. Shampoo lathered, dry skin from hard water gone, water spots on dishes and sink & shower all gone. I am very impressed and happy with results. Even BETTER is the customer service! I ran into an issue and contacted NP GLOBAL and the response was fast! They IMMEDIATELY helped me resolve the problem, kept in constant contact, and even went above & beyond and offered replacement or refund. 100% STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! **Edit** I have been using this, as I said, from the 29th of November and am just now needing to regenerate it. Granted, it is only me in my trailer, but I use a normal amount of water, even doing wash in a portable machine, so about 12 gallons every couple of weeks, along with showers and dishes, and the toilet. I think that’s an excellent amount of soft water for that long of a period, nearly three months! I am even more impressed now. *** This is working well. I have had it hooked up to my travel trailer system since the 29th of November and am still getting soft, soft water. On the hardness scale, it is still down at the lowest, nearly green, which is the least hard water. I did have another brand before this but that one leaked after a couple of years of use. So far this one is perfect, was easy to install and has no leaks at all. I don’t mind drinking the soft water and really don’t have a choice since there is only one input. (I don’t buy water) I honestly don’t think it’s bad tasting at all, in fact it’s better tasting than the soft water at home. I did hook two different filter systems up between this and the source since the water where I winter is horribly sandy and very, very hard. The filters help keep this running free and clear. I use much less detergent when doing clothes and less shampoo too. My skin looks better and hair is great with the softened water. I haven’t yet had to regenerate, so if anything changes I will update my review. I’m very happy with this purchase!
