I purchased this water softener for our RV. It works great. Pre Flush and installation hook up a breeze. The best part of our purchase is dealing with the customer service department. Outstanding. Used the softener one season. This spring when preparing to regenerate notice the riser tube had cracked. When called NP Global to inquire about purchasing the replacement part, I spoke with the most professional, politest customer ambassador, Ivy. She was very helpful. To make it "right" for the defective part, which I offered to buy, the company didn't just replace the part, much to my surprise they mailed me a whole new softener. Since them I have been telling everyone I know how great the company is. You don't find many like them.

FANTASTIC water softner! I live in very hard water area and this softner was perfect right out of the box. The additional supplies are a bonus. It installed in minutes and was very easy. If I can do it ANYONE will be able to install. Within 24 hours (it worked right away but got better) the water tested as perfectly soft (bought test kit separately) and made a huge improvement. Taste, smell, and water softness. Shampoo lathered, dry skin from hard water gone, water spots on dishes and sink & shower all gone. I am very impressed and happy with results. Even BETTER is the customer service! I ran into an issue and contacted NP GLOBAL and the response was fast! They IMMEDIATELY helped me resolve the problem, kept in constant contact, and even went above & beyond and offered replacement or refund. 100% STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! ABSOLUTELY recommend this water softner and NP GLOBAL!

I was not totally convinced that the portable softener would work well. We camp host at State parks, and their water is always very hard and needed to try something to save our rv’s water system. We were very happy with the efficiency to which this smaller softener worked. Maintenance on the unit is also an easy task. Well worth the cost and time.

**Edit** I have been using this, as I said, from the 29th of November and am just now needing to regenerate it. Granted, it is only me in my trailer, but I use a normal amount of water, even doing wash in a portable machine, so about 12 gallons every couple of weeks, along with showers and dishes, and the toilet. I think that’s an excellent amount of soft water for that long of a period, nearly three months! I am even more impressed now. *** This is working well. I have had it hooked up to my travel trailer system since the 29th of November and am still getting soft, soft water. On the hardness scale, it is still down at the lowest, nearly green, which is the least hard water. I did have another brand before this but that one leaked after a couple of years of use. So far this one is perfect, was easy to install and has no leaks at all. I don’t mind drinking the soft water and really don’t have a choice since there is only one input. (I don’t buy water) I honestly don’t think it’s bad tasting at all, in fact it’s better tasting than the soft water at home. I did hook two different filter systems up between this and the source since the water where I winter is horribly sandy and very, very hard. The filters help keep this running free and clear. I use much less detergent when doing clothes and less shampoo too. My skin looks better and hair is great with the softened water. I haven’t yet had to regenerate, so if anything changes I will update my review. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Worked great!!! Easy to setup. Customer service was outstanding!!!! The male connector of the water hose was distorted during shipment. Contacted customer service, new hose was mailed out and received in a few days.

I did not buy this for the traditional use of RV life, rather to improve water quality for my turtles. We live in Arizona, with private well water - very hard. The mineral build up was affecting their shells, and they weren't shedding their scutes very well. Since using this water softener to top off their pond water as needed, the white build up on their shells has reduced dramatically. It's easy to set up, drain, and regenerate with table salt. I wish I had gotten this sooner!
