Description

A semi-permanent color that is easy to apply, vibrant, lasts longer and fades to original tone. Pulp Riot uses only the highest quality vegan ingredients chosen for their reparative and restoring properties to maintain and improve the integrity of compromised hair. With each application hair is healthier allowing the hair to hold color longer. To maximize longevity of color, only shampoo hair as often as necessary and use color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Avoid saturation of hair in chlorine and direct exposure of hair to sunlight to the extent possible. Directions: Shampoo hair but do not condition prior to application. If pre-lightening hair, completely shampoo out bleach or toner. Do not mix the haircolor with developer. Apply directly from tube to dry hair. Saturation is key. Working with 1/2 inch sections makes saturation easy. Leave on hair for 25 to 40 minutes without heat, or longer if desired. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Do not shampoo. To maximize longevity of color, only shampoo hair as often as necessary and use color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Avoid saturation of hair in chlorine and direct exposure of hair to sunlight to the extent possible.

This is an amazing product, don't be fooled by color swatches, I refuse to use any other products. So I have natural black hair, but I've been doing foils of "cool light" so for best results and I get 8 plus weeks and I'm stopped everyday atleast 50 plus time's asking me for this information I will share. So back of head is natural color and I use this to make any gray hair covered an add a pop of contrast. The color wasn’t the normal shade. The packaging is the same but it’s more of a purple color than the pink it should be. I’ve ordered this color many times so I know what it should look like out of the tube. This is the second time the color wasn’t right. The first time it happened I gave it the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just “bad batch” and ordered another tube only to have it be the same purple color. The color seems closer the Pulp Riot shade Jam which is a pinky purple. I always loved this brand and color but after 2 tubes with the wrong color I can’t justify ordering it again hoping it’s back to the correct color ... show more

This color is GORGEOUS! I decided to color my hair unnaturally for the first time and this was my intro. I have a lot of hair so I bought two tubes to be safe, and I'm glad I did. I didn't end up using the complete second tube but it allowed for re-up dye jobs! These are my take aways... 1. If you want more vivid colors leave it in longer. 2hrs ish. ALSO, I did bleach my ends before doing this. I don't know what it would have looked like on my brown hair. 2. If you want less vivid colors mix it with conditioner. This also makes a tube go further. 3. It is IMPORTANT TO WASH WITH COLD WATER. That really does make it last. 4. Re-up your color with a dye conditioner mix, every other week or less if possible. This will help the color last longer. I usually washed then put the conditioner mix in for 30 minutes before rinsing that out. 5. Wear gloves and do with non porous sink and counters!!!!!! I applied the color initially and reapplied every week (regret) which used the materials faster. I wish I had let the color beautifully fade a bit before reapplying which would make my color last longer, but you live and you learn. I just applied the last of my dye yesterday. Before that it had been about 5.5 weeks. The dye will fade with every wash, but I predict the color ultimately staying a pretty pink for another 3 maybe 4 weeks (based on my fading experiences)? For reference I wash my hair on average 2 times a week. I did get purple so I will take my own tips for the next round and leave a review on that page with my feedback. Ultimately I am very happy with this product, and I'm sad to see my pink go :( ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For safety reasons I’ve blurred out my face..but oh my! My hair?! You won’t be able to miss that! This dye lasted for MONTHS, and I was able to keep and maintain vibrant, fun, beautiful, HEALTHY, fuchsia hair for at least 4+ months thanks to Pulp Riot. It costs more than the others, but even dark hair gets covered with a beautiful, exciting pink shade. It stayed strong for three washings, too, and it lightened to an even prettier pink.
