We have long searched for a harness for our 2 yr old chocolate lab Lily. Lily's a rambunctious 2 yr old, full of energy, a sense of adventure, and lots of mischief. The harness is well made and the size/width of the webbing is perfect for a dog her size. The harness was easy to size to her, and she was comfortable wearing it. Then we left her in her crate for about an hour, and when we checked on her, she had chewed through it. Our bad. That being said, we'd like to try the step-in harness again and take more time letting her get used to it (under supervision!). it fits great! easy to adjust with no gaps. much better than the much more expensive ones. seems to be very comfortable for her. seems to be durable but this is her first day wearing it so it's a little early to make a judgement on. overall - this is a great product!

I just had to adjust it for my dog, that wasn't too bad- instructions would be valuable though. I had to find the way to do it, on youtube. The only real gripe I have is the central piece that goes against the dog's chest isn't sewn into place- it slides up and down the line which is rather silly. Anyone who manufactures clothing or pet products should realize that is something that should be done. I sewed it into place myself so it can't slip up & down the harness when the harness isn't on my pooch. The clasp and d-rings seem well made so we shall see. My dog seems to be ok with it and that's what is important. ... show more

I would have given this collar no stars and give minus stars.I have a four month old puppy who chewed the collar's webbed material within hours of putting it on him. Manufacturer obviously doesn't know or care about how aggressive chewers can easily chew right through such thin material. Collar could have been reinforced with a double band of fabric.
