This is an extremely basic, but powerful propane heater. I love that this requires absolutely no electricity. The heater is a compact size and lightweight. It has casters, so it can be easily rolled to wherever you need to put it. There is a spot to put a twenty pound propane tank on the back and it has a cage to secure the tank although the cage is a little flimsy. Once it is secured, it seems to stay on very well. This heater comes with the hoes and a regulator. These items are on the cheaper side, but easily upgraded. The amazing thing is this heater really puts out heat. using a twenty pound propane tank and running it about 4-8 hours a day, we were able to heat about six hundred square feet in our house for approximately 3-4 days. This heater so far has been very reliable, and would be great for a garage or to go camping. We found it to be a great alternative to using our gas or electric heat in our house for the couple days that the temp dropped here in Wisconsin as we already had a full propane tank from grilling. for the price, this was well worth it.As this little heater is so very versatile.

Living in an area that experiences all four seasons as well as having a working farm in such conditions makes having a portable, off-grid heater extremely wise. Power can go down without notice and lines freeze quickly if heat can't be generated. I've used other heaters that require adapters to be used with propane tanks. This unit solves that problem being designed to use them rather than the one pound camping tanks (that also cost about 4x as much). This unit is easy to move and reposition as needed and is very simple to get working and producing heat. The ignition is quite reliable and this heater can produce nearly 20K BTUs of heat which can affect the temperature of a large room. I'll be using this in our barn as a backup heat source.
