This water dispenser has been a great addition to my kitchen!!! I love that the water jugs are placed on the bottom because I don’t have to lift a heavy jug when it needs to be replaced. This was easy to set up by myself and assembly took about 10 minutes and weighs about 40lbs. The water takes about 60 minutes to both heat up and chill before your first use but once connected to the filter the different temperatures are consistent. The hot water is hot enough for tea and instant soups and the cold water is always cold even without ice cubes. It is self-sanitizing so the water you get is clean and tastes delicious. It is made of stainless steal and a high quality plastic and has a magnetic front to stick magnets to for the kids to stick artwork or other paper. This says it fits the PRIMO 3 gallon water jugs but I couldn't find those in my area so I bought the 4 gallon water at my local supermarket and it fits just fine. I love this and for the price I can recommend this easily. ... show more

Water temperatures never worked. Water never became really cold or hot. Purchased a different brand elsewhere for much less money and better reviews and works great.

Overall, I am happy with this Primo water dispenser. It seems to be very well made with good quality materials. The black and stainless steel design blends well with the other appliances in our kitchen, and I appreciate the bottom loading and casement that hides the large water bottle. This unit has a fairly small footprint, too, but be aware it needs about 4" of clearance on the back and sides. One of the nice features of this unit is the self-sanitizing cycle that you can enable and have run every 24-hours or on-demand when needed. The bottom-loading makes changing out the water bottles fairly easy, and it even has a built-in holder for the metal probe for when you are swapping out the bottles. The control buttons are fairly easy to use, but important to realize there are 2 dispensing nozzles on this unit (one on the left for dispensing hot water, and the other on the right for cold water). There's no option for room temperature water. There are control switches on the back of the unit to turn on/off the cold water, hot water, light, and the ozone sanitizer. I like being able to turn those features on/off, but it can be a pain having to look back behind the unit each time you want to turn those on/off - especially the nightlight. We do not regularly use the dispenser for hot water, so we keep that off unless we know we are going to need it (it takes about 10-15 minutes for the water to get hot). The push buttons can be a bit of a pain, too. You have to press the hot or cold button and make sure it lights up red (hot) or blue (cold) and then you press and hold the dispense button. The 2 step process helps avoid accidentally dispensing water, but there are times when I've had to press the cold button several times to get it to light up. It seems to dispense the water fairly quickly. I do not think it is overly noisy, but it definitely makes some clicking and humming noises from the water pump while dispensing and when the heating/cooling/sanitizing cycles are running. This unit uses ozone sanitizing. I do think there are better water dispensers available with more features at the $239 price point (at the time I ordered). ... show more
