Summing up — Well made, accurate action, beautiful finish, and a price that blows away the competition. Socket extensions are not the most critical items in one's tool set compared to, say, high-quality sockets but they still have to work well. Performance Tool delivers. Accurate sizing — Cheaply made extension bars can suffer from sloppy sizing at either end. Not these. They fit like a glove, and their spring-loaded steel retention ball provides good location but not too much. Beautiful finish — The look of this polished chrome vanadium steel holds its own against top brands. My own sockets are Snap-on and I cannot spot a difference in finish. Good knurling — Some brands of extensions do not have knurling at all, but this one does, something I prefer. Size and location are almost the same as on Snap-on extensions. Low price — The expense of owning these Performance Tool extensions is roughly 90pct lower than comparable Snap-ons, but also roughly half of Craftsman! I needed the extensions to change the battery in my car. The brace at the bottom is hard to reach. Putting this on the socket driver made it an easy task. There are 3 extensions. Stacking them all together should give a foot of reach for the project. They fit a 1/4 drive no problem and have the ball bearing for a secure fit. ... show more

Worth every penny use to work at the automotive store pepboys and used gear head and performance tools worth if sucks advanced auto bought out pepboys and no more speed shops. Lastly, since performance tools are life time warranty is there a number to call in case I need to warranty out any of the extension bars please advise ... show more
