  • Great way to improve the taste and quality of everyday drinking water
I have been using this Brita 10 cup water pitcher to keep filtered water in the refrigerator, and it has become part of my daily routine. The pitcher holds enough water that I am not constantly refilling it, while still fitting comfortably in the refrigerator door. The filtered water tastes noticeably better than straight tap water, and I like having cold water ready throughout the day. The Everyday Elite filter is easy to install and replace, and the pitcher is simple to refill. The lid stays in place while pouring, and the handle is comfortable to hold even when the pitcher is full. Compared to buying bottled water, this has been a more convenient and cost effective option while also reducing plastic waste. It has encouraged me to drink more water since I always have filtered water available. Pros 1. Improves the taste of tap water 2. Large 10 cup capacity reduces frequent refills 3. Fits well in most refrigerator doors 4. Easy to refill and replace the filter 5. Great alternative to buying bottled water Cons 1. Filtering takes a few minutes after each refill 2. Replacement filters add to the long term cost Overall, this is a reliable water pitcher that is easy to use and works well for everyday hydration. It provides better tasting water, reduces the need for bottled water, and has been a great addition to my kitchen. ... show more

  • BETTER THAN BOTTLED WATER!!!
I moved across the country twelve years ago, and when I first bought my farmhouse, I immediately noticed that the tap water tasted HORRIBLE! About three months later, a safety report was in the mailbox, stating toxic chemicals were present in the water. I then began buying bottled water, costing $25-35 per month. After learning about the microplastics found in the bottled water brands, I searched for an alternative solution to have safe water to drink. I found this pitcher on sale during Prime Day, and thought I would give it a try. I’m so happy I did, because I now have pure, clean drinking water! After dumping the first three pitcher of water (recommended in the description), I did a quick taste test. I first took a sip of the filtered water and it tasted very very very clean. I then took a tiny sip of the tap water, and it tasted nasty as it did twelve years ago! This model also removes microplastics, so you should grab one if you’re drinking bottled water. Just pour the bottled water into the pitcher, and the filter will catch the microplastics! I just tried running the water there the filter twice, and the water now tastes better than it did after running through the filter the first time. I recommend filtering the water twice if you’re concerned about this item. You’ll find a great difference once you try this technique. If you’re concerned about the possibility of the pitcher getting cracked, try this idea. When the pitcher is half full to almost full, grab the handle with one hand and place your other hand at the bottom of the pitcher when you’re filling a glass of the water. This will reduce the pressure on the handle and bottom of the pitcher, and may reduce the chance of your pitcher being cracked in the future. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised!
After a few weeks of owning this I can say honestly I really like it. I wanted to cut out buying bottled water and decided to give this a try after reading reviews. Initially, I was worried how it would taste. It tastes good! And I am a snob when it comes to the taste of water. Pros: -The Elite filter doesn’t produce black specks in the water which I didn’t like about a water filter I had years ago. -I love that the Elite filter also removes lead. -It filters fast when re-filling the water. -Tastes good -The pitcher fits into our fridge. Check measurements before buying to make sure it will fit in yours. - It’s easy to clean. -It has cut down on buying bottled water. So it has saved us money. The cons: -We are a big water drinking family and the jug does need to be filled multiple times a day. That’s the only con for us and not a big deal to fill the jug. Not a con because I’m not sure yet, but The filter says it lasts six months, but I doubt it will last that long for our level of usage. A worry I have is how long the change filter indicator will last and if it could be replaced if it stops working. Definitely recommend! Happy not to be lugging the 40 pack of water bottles from Costco anymore! ... show more

  • Filter lasted only 45 days — nowhere near the “6 months” stated in the listing
I purchased this Brita pitcher on December 15, 2025. The product listing clearly states that the Brita Elite filter should be replaced 2x a year — about every 6 months. My usage is extremely light: I fill the pitcher once each morning for our coffee machine. Despite that, the electronic indicator turned red by February 1, only about 45 days later. Since Brita’s own guidance is to replace the filter when the green light turns red, this means the filter reached end‑of‑life far earlier than advertised. At this rate, I’d need a $30 two‑pack every three months, which makes the system much more expensive to maintain than expected. The pitcher itself is fine, but the filter lifespan is nowhere close to the “6 months” described in the product details. Very disappointing and not cost‑effective. ... show more

  • Reliable, Easy-to-Use Water Pitcher That Makes a Noticeable Difference
I’ve been using the Brita Water Pitcher with the Everyday Elite Filter for a while now, and it’s been a great upgrade for everyday drinking water. The pitcher itself is a nice size, easy to handle, and fits well in the refrigerator without taking up too much space. The handle feels sturdy, and pouring is smooth without splashing. What really stands out is the filter performance. The Everyday Elite filter noticeably improves the taste of the water. It tastes cleaner and fresher, with no lingering tap-water flavor. I also appreciate the peace of mind knowing it helps reduce contaminants, which makes drinking more water throughout the day feel easier and more appealing. Changing the filter is simple and quick, and the pitcher design makes refilling straightforward. I like that it filters fairly fast compared to older models I’ve used, so I’m not waiting forever to fill a glass. Cleaning the pitcher is also easy, and it holds up well with regular use. Overall, this Brita pitcher does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s convenient, effective, and reliable for daily use. If you’re looking for an affordable and easy way to improve your drinking water at home, this is a solid choice. ... show more

  • Safe drinking at an affordable price
I bought this Brita water Pitcher & Filtration System because it's the newest innovation that also eliminates lead from water. I actually by my water by the gallon now, because our wells now have forever chemicals. I stopped drinking tap water, because water is all I drink now besides my morning coffee. I use this Filtration system for my bottled water to get rid of the plastic particles they say are from the plastic bottles. I hope it's helping. The filters are easy to use & my water tastes really clean. The pitcher fits nicely on my fridge shelf & doesn't take up too much space, it's got good water flow & the quality if the product so far is really good. I have no complaints & highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Nice pitcher, but I may die of thirst while waiting for it to filter.
We have a well that produces very good tasting water, but does contain minerals that seem to eventually kill all of our appliances. We purchased this Brita pitcher with Elite filter to take the place of gallon jugs of spring water that we use to fill our Breville Barista Touch coffee maker and our Euhomy countertop ice maker (both are awesome and recommend both). This is a nice and simple water pitcher. There are four parts to this pitcher: lid, filtering reservoir, Elite filter, and clear plastic pitcher. This is very easy to take apart, change filters, and clean. The lid has a round hinged pop-up lid that opens by pressing a thumb button on the top of the lid near the pitcher handle. The pitcher also has a button under the lid that you press during set up that provides a green, yellow, or red filter life indicator light when pouring the water. Filling the filtering reservoir once will filter enough water to fill the pitcher approximately 1/2 way full. The instructions say that you need to fill and dump the pitcher three times after adding a new filter--this must be some kind of filter priming process. I do like this pitcher and how well it filters the water. I can definitely tell the difference between the unfiltered vs filtered well water--so I know for a fact that the Elite filter works. My only slight complaint is that this pitcher takes what seems like forever to fill--probably due to the super-mega filtering ability of the Elite filter. I haven't actually timed it but mine seems to take probably 8-10 minutes to filter--and at least double that if you fill it for a second time in order to completely fill the pitcher. So worst case scenario, if I want to fill the coffee maker, the ice maker, and then have a full pitcher full of cold water to on reserve in the refrigerator, it would take me about a 1/2 hour because i have to fill and filter the filter reservoir six times. Therefore, for us, it is a must to keep the refrigerator pitcher full at all times to cut down on the filtering wait time. We drink a lot of ice water. If I was looking for something as my family's primary water source, then I would probably go with one of the large square or rectangle refrigerator jugs with the pour spout. Otherwise, it is a nice pitcher, it just takes a long time to fill--but the water is super filtered when complete. I recommend this product. ... show more
