I'm moving soon, and wanted a cage that was mobile but was at least big enough for two guinea pigs. This was a rare find for me. I had one of those Petsmart floor cages and had it in my closet, which was obviously not ideal - and I got to say I am really liking this cage much better. Clean up is going to be ten times easier. I placed fleece blankets over the grid floor since piggie feet should have a gapless floor to walk on. Since the blankets are bigger than the floor, I just folded one side over to fit it and placed the water bottles on that side for excess water to drip. I placed a small blanket to cover the ramp platform and one of my piggies already likes to lounge there. Now as for assembly... I actually assembled it easily and quickly. It took 30 min for me. It is faster if you have someone helping you but I assembled it alone. Yes the parts are NOT labeled but you have to envision how the pieces would fundamentally work, e.g. the slider bar pieces at the bottom would of course face a certain way for the screws to go in and the bin to slide through. Just be careful about where they face. Overall assembly was good, my only problem was the darn ramp. For some reason that was insanely difficult for me to situate in the cage and I had to pop open the top and side doors to properly get it level with all the latches sitting on the bars. I was frustrated with that part about it but once it's firmly in place, you'll be happy with the result. The last thing I need to mention for anyone purchasing this: Make sure the black inserts for the rolling wheels are actually there at the bottom of the bars where the wheels are inserted. I didn't realize one popped out and was still in the box (thankfully) so inspect your parts carefully before tossing things out. I ordered this two days ago and the package arrived 5 hours before I was told it would come. The box it came in was huge and it took at least 2 people to assemble, although the directions were somewhat difficult to follow. We were able to get it set up and my bunny is still trying to get used to it. She hides under the platform in the corner, but a few hours later she started running around. The platform is metal so it's pretty strong to hold her and her bowl but slippery; she has no interest in climbing it but when I put her on top of it she slowly tries to descend using the ramp. I plan on putting some sort of towel to cover the ramp and platform so it's easier for her. The cage is all metal except for the tray on the bottom, which is plastic, so it's very durable, sturdy, and easy to move around. Two of the wheels have locks on them so even when she's jumping the cage doesn't move. Now it's easier for me to roll the cage from the kitchen to the backyard so she isn't inside all the time. we had to bend the front gate tighter so she wouldn't attempt to push it open. The top gate is usually how we get her in and out of the cage. One con with this cage is the tray; it slides out easily, but too easily to the point where it might fall off. I don't have a problem with her feces falling out of the cage because we bought a pee guard - and she only pees in one corner because we trained her to pee and poop only on a towel . I'm very satisfied with this cage because it gives my bunny so much room to run around in and she's not restricted to laying down and relaxing in one corner like her old cage. Before, I was iffy about this cage because the price was higher than the ones I thought would each my expectations - but I did two and a half days worth of research on which cage to buy on this website and I truly believe this cage is worth the price considering its large size, sturdy design, and comfort for my bunny. This cage has reached my expectations - maybe even higher. To those who may have a bunny (two would probably fit comfortably) and want something that is easy to clean and move around; 100/10 would recommend this cage. ... show more

This hutch is super easy to assemble. It is even easier to clean! I love that the rabbits have a platform to walk on that is smooth but has holes for the poop and pee to go into the lower tray! I put some paper or wood shavings in the tray to absorb the pee. The tray slides out easily for cleaning. I don’t put the ramp and shelf inside because my rabbits are pretty big but I did try it and it is well constructed and easily added or removed for cleaning. I add a soft Polar fleece bed that I make for the bunnies that they like to cuddle on and that I can throw in the washer. I am saving up to get two more of these to replace my other less functional hutches with. I highly recommend. I do put a carabiner clip on the side door since my one bunny knows how to kick it open and go for a spin around the house! Not safe with the dogs around. ... show more
