  • Good for travel
Size: 3 Litres
I just got this little pressure cooker and so far I really like it. We travel in a small motorhome during the winter and I missed having a pressure cooker, but mine is too big to bring along. I ordered this and after using it once, I am happy with it. I would have given it a 5 star rating except that you have to lift the pressure weight a little bit to make sure the pressure is down. My other cookers have a little "thingy" that drops when the pressure is down. The steam release will startle you the first time it goes off, but it is something you get used to. I use a little steamer basket inside to separate vegetables from the water and it works well. I also wish there was a recipe book with it - it says you can write and order one, but they are located in India. I'll do more research on that, but I use common sense right now based on experience. ... show more

  • Really nice cooker
Size: 10 Liter
Great size when cooking items that expand like beans or for items that require a lot of liquid. The first things I cooked when I received it was precisely beans and pot roast. The beans where so soft and it handled to perfection all the liquid (3/4 filled) that I wanted. The meat came out so perfect and soft to chew. I get mad at reviews that mention that the lid does not close or does not close properly. To begin, the gasket is brand new, so it will require you to press a bit the lid. You must adjust the lid and pot correctly so it closes. If you do not know how, check videos online that show you how to close the lid. Some reviews also mention how scary it is the noises that come from it. This is to be expected. I have been using pressure cookers for decades and yes, they are noisy. If you use gas, it will be noisier and you will hear it as if you were hearing an old steam train. If you use electric stoves, the will be like hissing. Either way, they make noises. The most important thing here is that you keep it in low-medium on your stove. This is a pressure cooker. If you put in high heat, the pressure will be extreme, and yes, it will explode. Read your instructions. The last thing I see in the reviews is about the discoloration or change of color. This item is raw aluminum. It will change in color. It is not going to poison your food and it is not going to the change the effectiveness of the product. If you cannot tolerate the change in color, I suggest you to spend a bit more in buying a stainless steel one. Again, I have been using pressure cookers for decades and I do not see how I can live without one. This is a great item. They are lighter than the ones I used to buy 20 or 30 years ago, but they even though they come lighter now, they are still a great item to have to speed the cooking process and preserve the taste, color, and nutrients of the food you are cooking. I bought the really small one of 2 litters too because sometimes I just want to cook for example a couple of beets that everyone in my family hates, and I do not make them because they take too damn long in a regular pot. It works perfectly too. I recommend this product. I have always bought Presto which are great, but I cannot longer afford. They are very expensive, so this item came on sale, and I am not disappointed at all. Excellent buy. ... show more

  • Hard to close !!!!!!! Scary sudden steam release!
Size: 10 Liter
This is probably my 3rd pressure cooker in almost 30 years. I received it yesterday. 10 ltr, decent size and looks good. I decided to make a bbq pork shoulder bone in. Shoulder was 14 lbs. So pot is good in size. Well the lid is extremely hard to close, to a point where I had to bang down the lid on back and sides. After many arguments with the pot, I got it to close. It took a while to fizz but eventually it did. Also noticed, which was a bit different to say the least, it all of a sudden started to release steam all over and fluids came out of the valve and all. Turned down the stove and it stopped. Seems to be a security guard of sorts I hope. Other than that, it's like your regular old fashioned pressure cooker. Nothing fancy. Problem is the closing of the lid. After it finished cooking, taking off the lid was easier... However, I decided it wasn't quite done and I needed to pressure cook the meat more. Well same issue. Getting the lid to close again needed some banging and pushing. ... show more

  • Tiny, light weight, inexpensive, works fine!
Size: 2 L
I travel overseas by air and rent apartments with kitchens. I wanted a lightweight, inexpensive 2 Liter size that could easily fit in my suitcase without putting it over the weight limit. This tiny, cheap-quality pressure cooker fits my needs perfectly. My expectations were low and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. For a trial, I cooked Pot roast for two and frozen chicken thighs and both cooked perfectly. I have a large collection of heavy and expensive pressure cookers, of various sizes, which I’ve used for many years so I’m experienced and comfortable using them. This 2L can’t compare in any way to their quality but it’s a great choice for a tiny, lightweight and inexpensive pressure cooker for my travel needs. ***Don’t overfill. Use low heat. Read directions. ... show more

  • Does the job!!!
Size: 7.5 Liter
First of all I am thankful to Amazon for selling this. An Indian household needs a pressure cooker and this is a name brand. The thing I don’t like about this is the stain it creates on the lid after cooking potato and does not go away.

  • Great pot!
Size: 4 L
The pot itself is fine - works like it's supposed to and I feel it's a good value. I'm sure with use I'll learn to better use the pan. That said... My daughter bought me the Ninja FD401 Foodi 12-in-1 Deluxe XL 8 qt. Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer. I love it, however, it's big... Cooking for two I wanted something smaller/easier and this seemed to fit the bill. I don't have much experience with pressure cookers, but it seems I had to cook my roast about half again what I did in the Ninja. ~50mins in the Ninja vs 75 in the pot - both natural cool-down - and it still wasn't quite as tender as the Ninja. Was it me? the pan? maybe a janky piece of meat - I don't know. It seems a quality product, so I look forward to experimenting and finding the best use for the pan. ... show more
