Came in excellent condition! Looks brand new no scratches anywhere and it came with a physical copy of Mario kart 7 which was a clean copy and it works. The only thing it didn’t have was an sd card but that’s fine I will get one but I’m impressed on the condition of the console and getting at a reasonable price. Arrived in perfect condition! Works and looks like new! I've been a long time DS fan and was looking to add another one to the household to get guests in on the game. I picked this one up since it was cheaper than the other models and all I have to say is WOW. I actually enjoy holding this one in my hands better than any of the DS family as before. Named her "Ol Blue" and she sits on my coffee table. Shame they didn't keep this form factor for the "New 2DS" because I'd love to play Smash on this one. Edit: ordered a second one in 2026. The shipping packaging left something to be desired, as it was just bubble wrapped, but it arrived in amazing condition, with perfect screens and only a very faint 1" micro scratch on the back of the console that you can't see unless you're holding it close to your face and turn it toward the light at JUST the right angle! ... show more

I deI've never purchased an Amazon Renewed electronic, so I had no idea what to expect. Honestly, since I had a budget limited enough to prevent me from tracking down a brand new one, I was willing to put up with a console that doesn't work at the top of its game. Luckily, with this Amazon Renewed 2DS, I didn't need to. I was blown away by the fact that this 2DS really does work exactly like new. There is no excessive slowness whatsoever, the display works beautifully, and the chassis shows absolutely no signs of wear or tear. Truly, the experience of using this 2DS is just like the experience I would have had if I bought a brand new one back in 2012. I do have to subtract a star because of two minor inconveniences. For one, this device doesn't include an SD card. This is rather annoying in the context of the 2DS, as while it does have its own internal storage, its small enough as to be almost useless, so I had to order my own SD card and wait for it to arrive before I could really use my new 2DS. Additionally, the one place where the fact that this 2DS is used is painfully clear is its battery life. A Nintendo 2DS is supposed to have between 3 to 5 hours of battery life. My device last about one to three hours, even while running DS or Virtual Console software. However, while these are annoyances, they ultimately don't do too much to distract from the fact that this 2DS works very well overall.
