NOTE: This is a combined review for the 50' and 100' hoses since Amazon doesn't allow me to post them separately as part of the Amazon Vine Voices program since they appear to have the same base ASIN number. The hose itself it extremely flexible and all 100' of hose were coiled up inside of a 12.5" x12.5" x6" box with the tightest coil having a diameter of under 3". The hose spray nozzle has a 10 different patterns and "flow strengths" from Jet to soaker, to mist, and more! It also has a unique feature in that there is a shut-off ball valve built into the end of the hose which makes it easy to solidly shut off the water flow while changing whatever is attached without having to shut off the faucet. The outer covering is a woven material that is black with highlights of green woven in throughout. The down side of that is that it picks up dirt and mud when it is drug around on the ground. AND most people probably don't really care about that unless they are constantly using the hose in an extremely muddy environment. This feels like a very nice hose that will last a long time for the average homeowner. With a current list price of just under US$70 for this 5100' hose it feels a bit more expensive than those cheap hoses you'd find elsewhere, but given the quality and feature differences - particularly the shut off valve and the included 10 pattern spray nozzle, it is probably a really good deal because it should last a long time. 5 Stars for quality and features of the 100' hose! NOTE: I ordered and also received a 50' hose and while there are a few differences (All 50' of hose were coiled up inside of a 11.5" x11.5" x4.5" box with the tightest coil having a diameter of under 3") and (The outer covering is a woven material that is mostly black with flecks of green woven in throughout) they are functionally identical except for the difference in length - 50' vs 100'. So this review applies to both lengths with the noted minor differences in color - which is good because you can tell which one you have by the amount of green (a little or a lot) woven into the hose cover.

Garden hoses can be so hit or miss. Many different types of hoses have great qualities to them with specific downsides for each. This hose is super cool, it's like the best of both worlds. This hose comes with a spray nozzle and a shut-off valve which is so handy and I didn't know I needed it until I tried it. The spray nozzle has ten functions that range from mist to jet and I have not experienced any leaking with it. The shut off valve is great for when someone wants to either change what's on the end of the hose without going all the way to the main valve (it's 100 ft for a reason right!), or if the spray nozzle is simply too powerful for something delicate like herbs. The woven cover over the stainless steel hosing for the hose is awesome for households that live in more extreme environments (and ones who don't!). Our extreme environment is being west coast USA, with summers getting up to 119 degrees in heat. The idea of a non-kinking, durable, long lasting stainless steel hose has always been a want for me but would have gotten way too hot to use. Since this hose in particular has the woven outer layer, my hands will be protected during summer. And, for the East Coast USA and other parts of the world, if it's too cold outside, this will be great for that too! I believe this garden hose is an extremely great value. 100 ft, nozzle included, stop valve and double layered. All for under $70. Our local hardware store wanted $40 for a basic, flimsy rubber hose!! My last note is adding that this review had me rate the "lightweightness" of this house. It's all metal at 100 ft, who's expecting it to be lightweight? It's not so heavy I can't maneuver it around the yard and I am a 5'1 pretty weak petite lady. I hope that's helpful! 11/10 recommend. We are very happy with this.

I've been looking for a hose to replace the old janky one that came attached to the house when I moved in, so my perspective is from a person who has only used "standard" hoses. I have to say, this is a nice hose. The thing that annoyed me the most with "standard" hoses was the constant kinking while I'm trying to get things done, and this hose doesn't seem to ever kink or otherwise crush or have flow blockage from any kind of physical crimping. This by itself makes this hose 10x better than the one it's replaced. This is a heavy hose though, which doesn't bother me much, but may be a factor to other people. I also ordered the 25' length, short enough for weight to not really matter, but I can imagine if you're hauling around a 50' or 100' long hose that has the fabric outer shell soaked through, this thing might weigh a lot and be difficult to move. This also is probably not a hose you would want to carry with you offsite, as "standard" hoses dry quicker, and this one might take a few hours to dry out in the sun. Mine came with a 10-setting nozzle, which compared to the quality of the hose itself, felt cheap. Like dollar store cheap, like if I banged it on the ground too hard while pulling on the hose, it could break. It seems fine right now, but I'm not confident in it lasting long. This doesn't matter to me much, as the hose is more important to me, and the nozzle I can just go get a better one. Overall this is a good deal, just be aware that the fabric outer shell will soak and if you need to drag it through mud, it will be harder to clean than a "standard" hose.
