  • A good battery for the money
Style: 12.8V 100Ah Basic
After receiving it, I charged this battery from its storage charge of about 50% to 100%, which took about 15 hours at 3 amps. I then ran a ham radio APRS digipeater off the battery and used a solar charger controller to measure the amp hours used. After several days of 24/7 use, the digipeater used 75.5 amp hours of it's advertised 100 amp hour capacity, with an ending voltage of 13.2V. I recharged the battery at 3 amps and measured the number of amp hours the charger put back into it... 75.5 amp hours, at which point the charger finished the charging cycle. So, this seems like a good battery and worth the money. ... show more

  • They work
Style: 12.8V 200Ah PRO
Quick delivery with good packaging. All shipped voltages were exactly the same. Roughly 30%soc. I charged them individually (ordered 4) With 20amp Lithium charger. Voltage between them varied within 125mv. (Took over 2 days to charge all of them) Had to charge 3 of them individually to get voltage the same to connect in series to a 5kw inverter charge controller. Discharged and charged for a few days from 100% to about 5% keeping track of AH with victron smart shunt. Voltages between batteries near the top of charge cycle and bottom of discharge cycle would drift a bit, 50 to 150mv but remained pretty close in the middle. Not sure what's going on but no magic smoke anywhere. During my last pull I was able to extract 199AH capacity with 5% still in the batteries+/- I'm sure it will pull more which is good, they hold what they claim so I'm satisfied except for the voltage variation I observed at high and low states of charge. Had them for a few weeks now, running them every day off of 2k of used solar powering a 6000btu ac in my work shed. Would have been 5 star if not for the odd voltage issue, which has diminished slightly over time but still mildly concerning. Time will tell, but over all I'm satisfied so far. ... show more

  • I am extremely happy with the Power Queen batteries.
Style: 12.8V 100Ah Heating
I bought two of these Power Queen 12.8V 100Ah Auto-Heating Lithium Batteries to replace two Lifeline GPL-6CT AGM Sealed Battery 6V 300Ah batteries. (I paid $500 ea for the Lifeline batteries and they only lasted 3 years) The two lifelines put out a total of 300Ah but only a little over half of that 300Ah was usable because a AGM or flooded battery can not be discharged below 11.95 amps. With the Power Queen Lithium batteries you can discharge them down almost all the way with out hurting them. This gives you usage of almost all the 100Ah these Power Queen Lithium have. (200Ah for the two Power Queens hooked up parallel) The batteries came very well packaged and arrived quickly. They were easy to install and with the help of Power Queen customer service it was easy to correctly set the settings on my inverter/charger. Customer Service answered every email I sent them asking questions within 24 Hrs. (There is no customer service phone number) However there was a little confusion with language translation since I believe the customer service is in an Asian country, but they quickly responded and cleared up that confusion. I have had the batteries in use now for a month and a half and they have performed perfectly. I bought the heated ones because my battery tray in open to the outside air. Considering that the weather here in southern Arizona has been as low as 29 degrees and has been around 35 degrees every night for the last few weeks this year, the batteries have performed nicely . I even put a remote temp sensor between the batteries to see how warm they were at such low temps. They were always at least 10 degrees or more above the outside temp, but that was on the outside of the batteries so I'm sure that inside the battery it's self it was even warmer. The batteries never had a problem in these temp. I have 500 watts of solar hooked up to the system. After a evening using approx. 65% of the 200 Ah the two Power Queen batteries charged up to full capacity in about 4 hours. All in all, I am satisfied with these batteries and I do recommend them. There is a You Tube video I watched before buying them which tested the capacity of the batteries and then they dismantled the batteries showing the inside of the battery. The capacity of these batteries tested as advertised and the inside of the battery was well built. I am extremely happy with the Power Queen batteries and recommend them. ... show more

  • Passed first test with flying colors!
Style: 12.8V 6Ah
6Ah version on Aug 2023: First impressions of this battery are good. It arrived with a voltage of 13.19. After charging, I ran a crudementary test with my multimeter, a small inverter and a fan. Running the fan on high caused the inverter to pull 5.2 amps initially from the battery. This later increased to 5.5 amps as the voltage dropped. It ran ~ 65 minutes before the voltage dropped to 12v under this load. which would indicate 9% SOC. After dropping the load at the end of the test the voltage immediately went to 12.5 volts. I originally bought this battery to install in a UPS, however I decided to go with a different 6aH battery that has a 10 amp draw BMS giving 50 more watts of power out of each battery in the UPS. However, this battery seemed like it would work well for my emergency lighting project so I attached an XT60 to its terminals. ... show more

  • Longevity TBD. But light and cheap.
Style: 12.8V 6Ah
Bought 2 of these for 20 bucks each. For you math wizards that's 40 US $. Connected in parallel to achieve a 12 amp circuit for Lowrance. The two in concert gave me 12 A of 12 V and less weight than a previous used PbGel bat with only 10 amperes. Don't know how long it will last because I bought this a few weeks ago but 12 is > than 10 and these two are easily driving my Lowrance for 10+ hours between charging. Something the older Pb bat couldn't keep up with as they weaken in 2-3 years. Time will tell. The Col ... show more
