The Dual Lens Endoscope works but the picture quality could be better. Overall a nice addition to my tool chest. Very affordable for what you get. Easy to use, easy instructions.

I bought this endoscope to try to find the hole in mySump pump pipe. This worked great at finding the hole. That's where this endoscope comes into play. I was able to feed the scope through the pipe and down into the runoff tube and I did manage to find a hole (in addition to a bunch of junk). Since I was feeding it into a fairly large "pipe", it was a bit tricky keeping the scope oriented, as the semi-flexible cable may curve and twist as you feed it in. The more cable you feed in, the harder it is to control. Because of this, I think the 16 ft cable is the longest recommended length...anything longer will be too difficult to control in any space wider than a 2" pipe. I also highly recommend getting the dual lens camera. I found myself switching back and forth between the two cameras a lot. Often, the front camera didn't show much because it was lying directly against the bottom of the duct, but the side camera would show the top or side of the duct. The IPS screen is good quality and a nice size. Resulting video/pictures are good considering the size of the camera. I downloaded the pictures onto my computer and the quality actually looks a bit better on the endoscope screen vs my computer...perhaps because the pics are so much bigger on my computer. This was my first attempt at using the endoscope and I'm sure my pictures will improve as I get better at holding the probe steady. I did find it difficult to figure out if I needed to push or pull to get the camera centered on what I wanted. Perhaps that will also get easier the more I use it. All-in-all, this is a handy little endoscope. In addition to household DIY, I could also see this being useful with car/engine repair. Who hasn't dropped a bolt or nut into a small opening when working on your car or lawnmower? The endoscope comes with a hook and a magnet which would help retrieve said bolt or nut. It also comes with a very nice carrying case.

I really like the product the ability to be able to look into areas that are normally can't such as understuff and possibly into a wall if need be. The handheld base has an nice large screen and charges with a type C charging cord. The camera on the end of the cord plugs in via USB and has multiple lighting sources for both cameras on the front and side. The cord is very rigid though, which I guess is a good thing that way it doesn't bend so easy when you're trying to maneuver it into places that might be tight. I really like the fact that it came in a very zippered and padded storage case with a handle to carry it by. The handheld base is not waterproof from what the instructions said but the camera and cable are IP67 rated. So I would maintain caution in using this product anywhere where water could possibly come in contact with the handheld base. And also comes with two attachments for the camera so you can pick up things that you probably wouldn't be able to reach by hand or any other means. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that it has the ability to record video and take photos but it had no internal storage and requires a micro SD card which was not included. I am not going to decrease my five-star rating over that because you're getting an absolutely spectacular item for a very reasonable price and the cost of a micro SD card nowadays is minimal. So to me it was not a big deal that it wasn't included in the purchase. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing to look down a drain of a tub or sink where something may have gotten lost or maybe use it in between walls to see if you have a mouse problem or some type of electrical issue. You can also use this to look inside of a car motor but I will probably never use it for that myself, but the option is always there if I need to.
