    • It's an okay portable printer
I was intrigued by this portable printer because I've always seen them around online, but wasn't sure if it was worth the purchase. Once it arrived, my first impressions was how compact the printer itself was, and that it actually came with a drawstring bag for safekeeping when you take it on the go. Set up was really straightforward. You just need to download the app that is required for the system, then you pair the printer to your phone via the app so you can get started. This portable printer does include a roll of paper, the texture of it kind of feels like receipt paper that is mostly used at stores for checkout receipts, but much wider. Once everything is all set up, you can start the printing process. This printer only prints in black-and-white since this doesn't use ink of any kind, it's basically using the same method as a story receipt we used to print out the words or image on it. The printing quality varies with the images that you provide to it if it's not a high resolution image, it will probably look pixelated once printed, but if it's somewhat of a higher resolution image, well you'll have no problem. Thankfully, the printing itself is not noisy and it's pretty OK for what it is. Overall, this portable printer is not terrible. I think it has it's uses, especially if you need to print something out right away. But do keep in mind, if the paper isn't stored properly.     • Perfect printer for a portable office
This printer is perfect for traveling or for a small office area. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to download drivers to use the printer - they don’t use Window’s Update feature to download the drivers automatically. Another con is that the piece that you use to rip the paper off tends to tear the paper not cleanly (thermal paper is one big roll, not individual sheets of paper). Other than those cons, this is a fairly decent printer that you won’t have to worry about replacing ink or toner. ... show more

    • Good option for travel but the printed page will not lie flat
The printer works well. Easy to set up and install necessary software (print driver). It also comes with a "roll" of thermal paper. The printed page does not smear. The size is good for travel and it comes with a protective bag. The only problem I see is the thermal paper (fed from roll) will not lay flat. I did find a thermal paper option that is flat with folds on the ends for multiple pages. This paper is fed from the back of printer.
