Description

This plastic tool box is like a portable shop. It has a central locking mechanism for maintaining security as well as stability during travel. The interior is organized to maximize the amount of available space, and there is even a tool divider for the easy compartmentalization of your tools. The topmost bins slide apart to reveal the main bin underneath, and this system allows users to store their most useful tools on the top portion of the tool box. It is light weight but very sturdy and strong. The not-so short handle coupled with the size of the castors/casters make pulling along any surface a breeze. Its may compartments make it easy to assort sockets, bolts/screws and nuts. In addition, its is deep enough to hold bulkier tools and other accessories. This thing is an absolute beast. For the price there is nothing better on the market. The major brands are hundreds more. The lock is weak and can be easily broken off... You expect it to be solid? Dont buy composite materials if you want to be secure.

I was hesitant at first because of a few negative reviews about the locking mechanism being defective but I don't plan on using a lock anyways and it functions as it should to latch the top drawers so they can't pop open while moving the whole unit (which was my only initial concern). To be honest if you're truly worried about protecting it's contents from theft let's not forget that it's a fairly small plastic container on wheels that someone could easily just walk away with lol. To give 2 or less stars for this "defect" just seems absurd to me because imo it's quite the bargain and the unit itself is pretty impressive as far as construction and quality goes. The slide out top drawers even have ball bearing tracks that function really well and also have pretty nice organizational dividers. If you're looking for this style of utility container I really think you'll be satisfied given you're a reasonable person with realistic expectations. Hope this helps. !!!!Update!!!! just seen someone else's review stating that Hart makes the same thing for cheaper so I looked it up on Walmart.com and sure enough they sell the same box slightly different color scheme for over $20 cheaper! Unfortunately I didn't see it initially but maybe I'll save someone else from over paying cause for what they're charging it's a STEAL!! ... show more

I've been using this for a few months so far and I have to say, it's been super convenient for me to store my tools I use the most, where I need to be. I don't like have a garage to work in, so I have to work at different locations around the house and being able to cart my tools around with a handle made things easier and more productive. I like the storage cups compartment for my screws and smaller stuff to store in, and I can see from the top where I need to reach. The other side holds longer items. As you can see in my pics, you can slide the top storage apart and get into the middle of the box that is plenty big enough to store a few power tools. Nothing is feeling like it's about to break. It rolls great and does lock from the middle so that it wont open up during transportation. As you can also see that the handle retracts in the body and pulls out to pull while walking ... show more

    • Sturdy and 5 year warranty for $50 love how it slides open!
I like the way it slides open and I dont have to u latch or remove other boxes like other tool brands that have them all stack on top of eachother. This tool box is great easy access to small nuts and bolts I can store wrenches and sockets in the other slide out drawer and the bottom part that is exposed when both drawers slide apart is big enough for my impact gun my impact socket set and my drill and driver combo kit and still has room for a few more things. I do not have a garage I have a shed and this is a great option for keeping my most used tools in one spot on wheels to role out to my truck or trailer or anything with wheels I have in my driveway without having to search for them I can grab this and go saves me time hassle I will see how long it holds up bit so far for $50 I would buy it agian and IT HAS A 5 YEAR WARRANTY which was a bonus that I did not k ow it offered. ... show more

Purchased to carry most of my oil painting supplies. Has plenty of room and use the top to hold the tubes of oil paint. Negative: when I have liquids and the tops aren't 100% closed, they can leak as the box is upright when traveling on wheels. Should have thought of that first!
