Probably the world’s worst directions. The numbers where things are labeled are not matching the item. 11 says it’s a locking cap but it’s actually a step connector, 12 says it’s the hardware bag but it’s also a step connector— etc. the item comes with a variety of bolts but the directions do not tell you what size to use and it’s just a guessing game on what goes where. The pictures in the manual are horribly grainy and black and white. I would not recommend this head ache of a purchase. ... show more

    • Sturdy and Safe Ladder – Just Needs Sand to Stay Put
We’re very happy with the Poolzilla Pool Step Flip-Up Ladder for our above-ground pool. It’s sturdy, well-made, and feels safe for both kids and adults. The wide steps make getting in and out of the pool easy and comfortable. The flip-up feature was the main reason we chose this model as it adds that extra layer of security when the pool isn’t in use. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ladder needs about 50 lbs of sand to stay firmly in place. It’s not hard to do, but definitely something to plan for during setup. Without the sand, the ladder tends to shift when entering or exiting the pool. Overall, this is a high-quality ladder that does its job well and gives us peace of mind. ... show more

Materials seem of decent quality but the assembly instruction are incomplete, blurred photos, incomplete 3-D CAD drawings, inaccurate parts list with correlation to assembly instructions and actual parts. As an architect with more than 25 years experience and I found the assembly instructions lacking, misleading and inadequate. ... show more

    • Cheap and flimsy
Very cheap and flimsy. Instructions are as clear as mud, then when I put it in the pool, i stepped on the first step and it almost collapsed. Spend the mo ey and get a higher quality ladder.
