These were very east to assemble and are good quality! So far they are holding up well to a herd of twelve year old boys. We skipped the sand, drilled extra drain holes in the bottom between the feet and made weights from 2" PVC and Quikcrete to help hold the front down. One end was glued and capped. The other end we left the caps loose so the tubes can be slid out before we remove the steps for winter. The caps hold them in place nicely! I can still get behind them to clean and the water current flows well.

These steps were very easy to put together with the help of a rubber mallet. After reading the reviews, there was no way I was attempting to put sand in the sides because of the hole size. Instead I purchased a two pack of places sand bags that hold 60lbs of sand. I placed these bags on a shelf I added by cutting 1 1/4 inch pvc conduit and putting them in the slots on each side. I filled each side with water as I was putting them in the pool. The steps are staying in place and not moving at all. I don’t have kid’s playing on the steps so that helps. The hand rails are flimsy but not too bad so I’ll have to figure out how to make them more sturdy.

All in all a great ladder for our pool. Much easier for our dog and us to get in and out. It seems to be well built but feels a bit weak in the safety rails.

These stairs were pretty easy to put together. Took two people to do it in a short time. They are sturdy but use 4/50 pound bags of sand of the weights because two bags that we bought did not do it. The stairs were floating around and moving around like crazy.

Hard to assemble and legs posts were cracked. Seller keeps wanting pics i have sent. Will not provide email address to send. Disappointed overall

Don't buy unless you have something solid to anchor them to. If in the water buy 2 50 pound sand bags to help keep them in place. Also drill larger diameter holes in the plastic to let the water in
