These are the perfect steps for an above ground pool. You may pay a little more but it was worth it for us! It’s very easy to put together if you take your time and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! When you put the base plates on make sure that the holes are facing just like it is pictured. You have the option to fill it with sand, but my daughter did that on different pool steps and the sand leaked into the pool over time. We opted for the waterproof bags of sand to weigh it down.

These steps were very easy to put together with the help of a rubber mallet. After reading the reviews, there was no way I was attempting to put sand in the sides because of the hole size. Instead I purchased a two pack of places sand bags that hold 60lbs of sand. I placed these bags on a shelf I added by cutting 1 1/4 inch pvc conduit and putting them in the slots on each side. I filled each side with water as I was putting them in the pool. The steps are staying in place and not moving at all. I don’t have kid’s playing on the steps so that helps. The hand rails are flimsy but not too bad so I’ll have to figure out how to make them more sturdy.

These pool stairs were exactly what we needed! Assembly was quick and straightforward with clear instructions. Installing them in the pool was just as easy—they fit securely and feel very stable when in use. The steps are wide and slip-resistant, making it easy and safe to get in and out of the pool. They also look great and feel very sturdy. Overall, a fantastic addition to our pool setup. Highly recommend!

I got an above ground pool and needed a new stair case this one fits perfect it is sturdy and functional . We used sand to hold it down so it won’t float . I didn’t regret buying it and it wasn’t too expensive.

Absolutely garbage. Star because the middel finger emoji was not an option. Don't waste your time or money on this trash. Our original set lasted 10 years with two boys. They finally developed a couple cracks and we replaced with this product last month. Have had to remove twice because they simply come apart. Waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. Steps were fine, but the handrails are wobbly as heck! As someone who has some mobility issues, it makes me wary to use them. It was fairly easy to put together, however.
