This pole is a nice bright blue color and longer than our original pool pole. The extra length makes it easier to clean all the way across the width even though the shaft is a bit more flex-y than I would like. It still works quite ok and the price was very fair.

I must say, I'm quite disappointed with its performance. While the pole appears sturdy and well-constructed at first glance, it has a significant flaw that makes it frustrating to use. The main issue I encountered is with the grips and locking mechanism. After extending the pole to its full length, the grips are not strong enough to hold it in place. Despite multiple attempts to secure the pole, it keeps retracting during use. This not only makes it difficult to clean the pool effectively but also poses a risk of damaging the pool surfaces or attachments. For a product that claims to have a strong grip and lock, this is a major letdown. I would not recommend this telescopic pool pole to others, as the unreliable locking mechanism defeats the purpose of having an extendable pole. It's a shame, as the build quality and design seemed promising initially. Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reliable alternative.

This pool pole checks all the boxes: easy to adjust the length, lightweight, great price, and a perfect replacement for my old one! Although I have a heavier pole that extends to a longer length, I prefer this new one for cleaning and daily use.

I had used my previous swimming pool pole for seven years. The main issue I had with it was the cam became cracked so it didn't properly lock the two telescoping poles into place. After viewing the prices to replace the cam, I decided to purchase this brand new telescopic pole. Even though I was paying twice as much, I figured I would have more peace of mind that all pole parts were new, and I didn't have to risk another part on my old pole from failing. I have only used my new POOLWHALE Professional 12 Foot Blue Anodized Aluminum Telescopic Swimming Pool Pole twice. Before purchasing, I felt like it was a good value compared to other poles on the market. My previous pole contained one cam with two poles. This item contains two cams with three poles. That means there is a greater chance of parts breaking on this pole. The issue I have with this pole is that the top cam doesn't secure the two poles into place. I have tightened the cam but when I use the brush attachment to brush the bottom of my pool, the pole pushes in. I suppose I could take pliers and tighten the cam more, but this would put excess pressure on the cam and cause it to break. This would also lock the cam too tightly to where the pole would be permanently extended, which wouldn't allow me to shorten it to a length I could properly store.
