    • Adds a nice feel to the floor of the pool

We installed this floor padding under our new liner. It does make a difference in the feel of the pool floor. It also made installing the liner easier as the liner slid over the padding easily. The pad is a felt-like material and was thinner than I expected but it worked out nicely. We have a 27' x 54" above ground pool and it fit nicely with a little bit of material to go up the walls about an inch or so. We ordered the 27' round size. So far happy with the purchase. I think it will help the liner last longer as it isn't against the sand under the pool. For us it was worth the money. We gave our 15 year old pool an upgrade with a new liner, this padding, and the foil bubble insulation on the walls. It turned out very nice! I can't comment on the durability since we just installed it a few weeks ago. ... show more

It's ok. I read reviews saying it wasn't big enough so I bought a 24' for a 20' pool. It measured out at 23' 7" so, buy big. It's felt. I have no idea how long it's going to last and it's kinda thin. I'm combining it with a tarp style protector. The combo seems like it'll do the job well.

I liked the idea of this. It was really simple to use. I first put down a big tarp, then laid out the felt liner (it is a big circle) and let it sit until all the creases were gone. My husband and I placed the pool on top and made sure to align it with the liner as closely as possible. I noticed as soon as I started to fill my pool a lot of little wrinkles appeared in the liner. I pulled and stretched the pool to get out the wrinkles but it didn't help. I filled the pool. The bottom of the pool is very soft and I don't mind the wrinkles much anymore.
