I bought the 4 piece regular ones. I bought them for my fish tank that is no deeper than a foot and a half. I put the batteries in (each one takes 3 AAA batteries) and I made sure they were screwed on tight, correctly on the threads and sealed. After 4 hours of being in the water 1/4 stopped working (wouldn't respond to the remote but was still on) then, one by one the lights would go out. At the point of 3/4 not lighting, I inspected the lights closer and the inside of them were brown with water. The water got in and corroded the batteries. I threw them all away after using for only 3 days. Super unsafe to use in any water. 0/10 would not recommend. ... show more

These lights work well enough, but they are certainly not the most durable. The brightness is good. And the remote works within a few feet of the lights.

    • They drain the batteries quite quickly (about 100 hours of use).

I really wanted these to work well, but sadly they did not. I inserted three brand new AAA batteries in each unit and they worked great... for about 3 days. Then, they turned off. I used the remote to turn them on again and they stayed on for about a day. Using the remote, I turned them on again and they stayed on for an hour. I took out and tested the batteries and they were almost completely drained. These are great for short events, but are a failure if you are looking for something to place in your fountain and leave on for a while. Since they are low energy LEDs, I was hoping I would only have to change the batteries every month or so. That's not the case. ... show more

I absolutely love these YiaMia Pumpkin Lights! I originally bought them to decorate my hot tub for fall, and they completely transformed the look, so festive and colorful! The suction cups work great on smooth surfaces, and I was surprised by how well they stayed in place even after several hours in the water. These were cool and fun for my son’s bath for a week or two and one just stopped working. Terrible. The other one stopped working after like 2 months. So, of course no refund. Don’t buy. Waste of money.
