As a reference point, I live in New Jersey with its' four seasons - sometimes a harsh winter or full sun (UV). I've had an 18' x 33' above ground oval pool for well over 23 years and have replaced the winterizing cover almost every 3 years during the pool life. Consequently, I've had a lot of experience with different brands and makes. I never skimped when making my purchase and did a fair amount of research in advance. I never stressed the covers, installed them just as recommended (with cable through the grommets) and used recommended plastic clips to secure them to the rails to avoid wind damage. I removed leaves and debris during the fall and drained rain/snow to keep impact minimal. Although many companies promote a warranty for their product, naturally it's a sliding scale with a rapid decline in 'reimbursement' and hardly worth the effort to attempt a return and replacement. Hands down this is the best pool cover I've ever purchased. It is extremely well made, very durable and after more than a half year of fall and winter use, looks and feels brand new. The material has bulk, creates a terrific barrier and the stitching and edging couldn't be better. Unlike previous covers, this does not exhibit any wear along the edges, where it meets the pool rails or any other location. It is evident that the company has taken professional care in producing a first rate product. It was well packaged with the associated parts and instructions. Although it included a heavy duty pillow, every year that I used one the pillow would eventually fail and didn't really provide any noticeable protection or advantage. Snow and rain appears to put undue pressure on the pillow and cover, and the water would freeze none-the-less. Using a gravity drain and keeping on top of it works every bit as well. This cover performed extremely well under the same hard weather and freezing conditions. I highly recommend this cover and am so happy to find a manufacturer that builds a quality product at a time when so many others are cutting corners and take little pride in what they produce. I for one am a very happy customer!

We have an 18x33 ft oval pool. We tried to use the cover we had, but it wasn't going on well (18×33 ft cover). We purchased the 21x41 ft cover, and not only did We have no trouble putting it on, we don't need to use clips or weights to hold the cover in place. The quality of the new cover is amazing! We would highly recommend this to Yankee Pool Cover to anyone looking for a new cover.

Tarp is high quality, but the cable leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not going to last the winter, looks like the ratcheting system will oxidize and the sheath around the cable will dry and crack.

This is my fourth year owning and having to cover my 15’ X 30’ above ground pool. This will be the third cover I’ve had to purchase because all the past ones either ripped or came apart at the seams, due to poor quality. As soon as I opened the box of the Yankee Pool pillow tarp cover and started unfolding it to put on the pool for the winter, I could tell instantly, this is a completely new level of quality tarp cover. The quality of the Yankee pool cover is far superior to all 3 of the past brand X covers that have failed me. You get what you pay for, so spend the very small amount extra to get the quality of the Yankee Pool Pillow Tarp Cover, because you will not regret it. I just can’t believe how thick this cover is, and the size of it is perfect with extra width and length to spare!! I can tell that this one is going to last for years to come. And also get the Yankee Pool Pillow to fit your pool for under the cover. The pillow quality is just as amazing as the tarp cover.

I purchased this in August, 2025. We've had a pool for 27 years & we can usually get a couple seasons out of a cover. Last week as were lifting leaves off of it we noticed there is about a 3 ft tear on the top of the cover. I would like to know is there any recourse for this order since it didn't last a year. The Hole Size of the 15’ X 30’ Pool Cover is made big of course very easy to put on my son and his fiancé had put the cover on in about 20 minutes all button up. Value for my money it’s a fare price i heavy Duty Material for your money looks great on top of the pool also. Most definitely Water Resistant and Durability to the weather. The two pictures I took on this day was very windy and as you can see not moving even with out any water on top. It’s very Functionality as you can see. I have always bought Yankee Pool Covers in the past they are very doable.
