The rich lather helps clean dirty coats and other environmental residue. Since our shampoo is easy to clean, it leaves your dog’s coat looking clean, silky, and smooth. Our plant derived ingredients make our shampoo the choice for owners who want to avoid harsh chemicals for their dog and themselves. Our shampoo is PEG-80 free, alcohol free, paraben free, and pH balanced. Our 64 oz size and concentrated formula allows for up to 70% more baths than other leading brands. While there are no harmful chemicals in our pet products, some pets are sensitive to certain plant oils used in our products. Wahl strongly recommend talking to your vet and doing a small spot test on your pet at least 24 hours before using any new product. I’ve tried quite a few dog shampoos over the years, and this is by far one of my favorites. It lathers really well, so a little goes a long way, and it rinses out easily without leaving any residue. We've been using this shampoo for quite a while, and it's become our go-to for both of our dogs. We have one long-haired dog and one short-haired dog, and it works equally well on both. It lathers nicely, rinses out easily, and leaves both coats soft, clean, and shiny. The coconut lime scent is fresh and pleasant without being overpowering, and they both smell great for several days after a bath. A little shampoo goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than I expected. I have had a chance now to used this on four dogs, with one dog having used it multiple times. It leaves them smelling great and with smooth coats. It rinses easy, have not noticed eye irritation although I have take car not to get any in their eyes. The hair condition is the stand out feature though. The one dog who I've bathed multiple times now is new to me but gladly jumps into the tub for a nice bath as she must find it soothing and enjoyable. I'm 69 years old and have owned dogs for 69 of those years. I've owned many dogs and used many different shampoos for them and I find this Wahl USA Dry Skin & Itch Relief Pet Shampoo the best consistent quality product I've used. ... show more

This dog shampoo came VERY well packaged, no leaks no mess. And it's a fairly large bottle! The smell was a very light sent and pleasing. It suds up well on dogs and seems to clean them well. And suds are easy to wash off. Leaves their fur/hair very soft. My dog has severe allergies with skin issues and it worked OK. For at least 1 day she did not scratch. I didn't expect any miracles of it completely stopped her scratching but, I'll take a day of relief for her. It seemed to really help with her flacky skin just after 2 washes. It helped heal my dogs severe heat rash. In one day. I got this shampoo because my lab has sensitive skin, but when it arrived and while washing my pups I noticed my husky had horrible heat rash all around his neck and when cleaning the area I shaved it, cleaned with rubbing alcohol (which isn’t always recommended but I was scared and really wanted to help my pup) and I put the shampoo on it because oatmeal is supposedly helpful. And in 24 hrs it looks like the photos now. The top of his forehead had a small spec yesterday so I shaved it but I forgot to add more shampoo to it and the head got worse and bigger. So where I applied the shampoo got healthier and where I didn’t got worse. Oatmeal is very helpful for dogs. My other pups who don’t have any heat rash with regular wash, their coat feels very soft after the wash. I’d buy again. I liked the price of the item. And I don’t notice a strong clean smell but my dogs don’t smell dirty. Like a neutral smell. ... show more

Thai is a great product, I spend a lot of money buying shampoo for my four dogs and every single one gave them allergies or didn’t do q good job. Once I tried this shampoo I was really happy with the results, it leaves my dogs hair soft and white and smelling really nice. It soothes theirs skins and it help with itching and redness. My Daughter is a groomer and she ran out of her regular shampoo and ordered this because this shampoo would arrive faster. I was a bit skeptical at first but I’ve used this now many times and this shampoo does do a very good job. Brings a shine to the coat. The price is affordable . It arrived packaged very well.
