Wahl’s Oatmeal formula shampoo contains coconut lime verbena. This allows us to help gently cleanse, moisturize, & protect your puppy’s delicate skin by providing itch relief. The rich lather helps clean dirty coats and other environmental residue. Since our shampoo is easy to clean, it leaves your dog’s coat looking clean, silky, and smooth. Our plant derived ingredients make our shampoo the choice for owners who want to avoid harsh chemicals for their dog and themselves. Our shampoo is PEG-80 free, alcohol free, paraben free, and pH balanced. Our 64 oz size and concentrated formula allows for up to 70% more baths than other leading brands. While there are no harmful chemicals in our pet products, some pets are sensitive to certain plant oils used in our products. Wahl strongly recommend talking to your vet and doing a small spot test on your pet at least 24 hours before using any new product. As someone with 9 dogs (my own plus rescues), I go through a LOT of dog shampoo and I’m very picky about what I use. I needed something that could handle strong doggy odor but still be gentle enough for frequent baths—and this shampoo has honestly impressed me. The biggest win for me is that it’s truly one-and-done. With most shampoos I have to wash my dogs multiple times to fully remove that outdoor “dog smell,” especially after they’ve been playing in the yard. With this one, a single wash gets them clean, fresh, and smelling amazing. Their coats look noticeably cleaner, shinier, and softer after every bath. It also lathers really well, and because it’s concentrated, a little goes a long way—which is a huge plus when you’re bathing multiple dogs regularly. It rinses out easily and doesn’t leave residue behind. I also noticed a big bonus: several of my dogs who tend to scratch after baths stopped itching after using this. Knowing the formula is pH balanced, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and PEG-80 free gives me peace of mind, especially since some of my dogs have sensitive skin. Cleans well smells ok. Not what I was expecting. Does the job but I'm not sure it's hydrating at all. Lathers ok and good consistency definitely gets all 5 of our dogs clean. They range in size and coat types from 58lbs and double coated to 9lbs short thing hair and everything in between. It didn't make them itchy afterward which was a plus bc we had that happen with another brand in the past. We used a name brand oatmeal shampoo before this one and it felt silkier smelled better and definitely hydrated their skin but was 2x the price. My pupper has skin allergies and a lot of soaps cause itching issues, this one doesn’t! It leaves her clean, smelling good, soft fur and fluffy but best of all, not itchy. If your pupper has allergy issues, give this shampoo a try, maybe it work well for them also.

This dog shampoo has a wonderful clean smell, and what I really like about it is it lathers right up and rinses very easily. Some shampoo that have used in the past were hard to rinse out.
