1. The original packe came without the weughted disc that goes on top of cover. When the replacement came it didnt work at all..the siphon pump is very delicate, cheap plastic. The system didn't work well. I thought at first maybe I didn't hook it all up correctly but the I reviewed videos on similar product and I did hook I all up right. Really...don't waste your money

This product is awesome . When I received it I was skeptical on whether or not it would work . My pool had about 3 feet of water on top of the tarp after the hard rains . I put it on the tarp on Saturday about 1:00 and by Sunday around 10:00 am it was drained . The best thing is it requires no batteries or electricity to work. Great product.

This drains the water off the top of our. Above ground pool nicely. The instructions say to squeeze the bulb with your hand to begin. That didn’t work. We viewed a YouTube that said lay the bulb on the ground and mash it with your foot a few times. That worked great!

So I didn't have faith in the pump at all on this. It was a plastic flimsy and you can hear the air leaks. However the main piece the drain as I call it works great. I paired it with this pump H-veenjor Gasoline Siphon Hose Pump, Hand Fuel Transfer Pump, High Flow Gas Siphon Pump for water Gasoline Oil Petrol Diesel, Manual Fuel Pump with 2 Premium PVC Hoses https://a.co/d/8lUI4z6 and it's a perfect combo.

The drain is very good, once you get the water flowing, it works well. 👍 There are no directions with the product. 👎 I had to go to the internet for a short video. it's not overly complicated but, you have to figure out how the siphon bulb works. The tubing is horrible. 👎 To start with, it's diameter is undersized. I live in N E Ohio, it's cool here now and the tubing gets stiff. I had to dip both ends of the tubing in hot water (used coffee mug microwaved to get hot). Then I had to gently force the tubing over the fittings on the drain and siphon. PIA!!! The tubing is also too flimsy. 👎 It kinks and doesn't hold its shape. Sometimes this impedes water flow. The tubing is too short👎 I have to take one end of the siphon tube and put it into the end of my garden hose so I can direct the water where I want it. The siphon squeeze bulb is cheaply made and flimsy. 👎 I doubt it will last long. But, I like the concept of a slow draining process with no electric pump. Once you get this drain working, you walk away and let physics do it's thing. I will be upgrading the tubing and buying a better siphon squeeze ball. I estimate the additional cost at $30.00. Most of this will be for 25 feet of reinforced tubing.

Heavy weight and bigger platform than expected. From the pictures I thought it was going to be smaller. So let’s get on with it. I covered my pool recently. Above ground 18 footer. Bubble in the middle and a new cover installed. Because there’s no rain expected anytime soon, I used the garden hose to replicate about a two inch over a day rain. Placed this unit in and squeezed the bulb and VOILA! This is going to be fantastic moving forward. No kink’s in the hose and plenty of it. I’m going to update when the leaves start falling. No more using a brick weight and sucking on a garden hose for me. I’m thinking I’m gonna love this moving forward. Should have bought this years ago will probably be my statement in the end.

The syphon pump gadget does not work. It is extremely hard to attach and will not pump the water. I had to suck the hose with my mouth to get the water to flow out the tube. I have used many of these Drainer Kits for the last 12 years for my above ground pool and this is the first one that is impossible to get to work. It hadn't rained forever and now my return window is over. Frustrated.
