    • The manual for this Smart Lock is very very brief and confusing
The product seems to be working fine if you can get the directions to run it.. you can't even look up a manual for this Smart Lock on Google because the search just continuously takes you somewhere else and I believe I read that this company was shut down

This review is for the "Fingerprint Door Lock, Keyless Entry Door Lock with Bluetooth, 5 in 1 Smart Door Knob with Smart APP, Fingerprint, IC Cards, Password, Backup Keys." If you've never installed a door handle, this item might not be for you. There are NO installation instructions. If you have, and you're the average DIYer, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. All you have to figure out is that you have to remove 1 screw from the back of the inside handle to get access to the battery compartment and the connector port for the little cable. Basically, just feed the wire from the front handle through the square center post and connect it to the port on the inside handle. Install 4 AAA batteries and you're good to go. It's really no big deal. Once installed, just download the App and pair it up with your door handle. The App isn't that hard to figure out. You have screens for adding users, passcodes, fingerprints, etc. You can remotely lock/unlock it from the App and it has 2 IC cards that you can sync to your door handle to physically open it without a key. The door handle itself looks pretty well built. It has a solid feel to it. My one criticism is the battery compartment. The screw to open it is located on the back side of the inside handle. The only reasonable way to unscrew it would be to take off the handle. Not very user friendly. One star deduction for this issue and a 1/2 star deduction for the lack of instructions. If you can live with the criticism above, this is a fairly decent, feature-rich door handle for the price. ... show more

Bought it for my bedroom, but assembling it was a pain in the butt, there aren’t any instructions. So I had to rely on the video on Amazon so it took me forever to install. Also doesn’t fit well into the average door. The keycard doesn’t work at all!!! The app only works when I’m close by. Doesn’t alert me of any history unless I had the app open while opening the door. Other than that the fingerprint works well and there are 2 keys as a backup. Also gives a choice of a temporary code (for 5 minutes) if you need to give anyone access. Don’t buy the physical key doesn’t work. It drains the battery in less than 15 days. It has locked me out two times
