  • Terrible Quality
All of Water Techs equipment is of questionable quality. I bought 2 of these because it's a great price. I lasted a week the otherasted one use. Every bag replacment bag I have bought falls apart at the seem or from the rubber portion that bag material attaches to. I do pool service for a living and use there pool blaster for water features and spas. I started having a shoe repair store sew and glue these bags back together. I hate doing it but the pool blaster when it works is a invaluable time saver and works well. Unfortunately it's very unreliable. I wish Water Tech made higher quality products. Anytime I complain at the Swimming Pool trade show I'm told it's not for professional use and told I need to buy the 800.00 model. I'm not convinced the quality would be better and unwilling to drop 800.00 with the lack of quality and poor customer service. ... show more

  • Terrible - Seems come undone after a few uses
I have a Max Li commercial grade unit to use these on. I bought 3 of these bags back at the end of July 2017. I used them half a season, put them away and kept the pool closed in '18 because my son was just born. This year I'm half way through the year and they all have tears in them. BTW, I'm not a pro, I use it on a 13000 gal pool maybe once or twice a week when its open. I hope the Ryobi model goes down in price, it uses a hard filter for the sand like their shop hand vacs. ... show more

  • Works and super easy to clean
First of all I think this filter is wildly overpriced, but it works and is much easier to clean than the filter that comes with the unit. As far as filtering sand and small particles it does a great job. Yes if the particles are super fine then you will see some blow by the filter. But my feeling is that is so small you can't expect any type of vacuum to filter that out as the filter would have to be so fine you wouldn't have any suction. Where I live in South Texas we have a lot of wind everyday and we get quite a bit of blowing sand and such. I use this once a week on my pool and it does a great job of getting the stuff that the pool valet units do not push into the drain. Do not expect this to suck up leaves and such as the throat of the unit is a little larger than a quarter. I would buy this filter again as I think I is much better than the standard filter. But I did choke on the price once I saw what it was. ... show more

  • Still Looking for a Silt Filter
Purchased that for my Pool Blaster Max and found that it doesn't filter out the silt. It just sucked up the silt and created a huge silt cloud in the pool water. It captured sand and other small particles, but it did not filter the silt and that was disappointing. I have to revert back to using the pool filter pump to vacuum the silt out of the pool. This is just a sand filter and doesn't work any better than the filter that comes with the Pool Blaster Max. ... show more

  • Much better than the stock filter bag, but needs one more step to capture the finest debris.
The filter bag that comes with the Pool Blaster Water Tech Max Li (the "Extreme Multi-Layer Filter Bag") is almost useless except for large debris. If you want to vacuum up the small/fine particles, you'll need to buy a better one. I bought this "Sand & Silt Filter Bag" which was a big improvement, but to really get the finest debris out of my pool, I add a "Micro Filter Bag" as a liner inside the Sand & Silt filter bag. This combination works great! ... show more

  • This filter bag is an exact fit for the Pool Blaster
Having an extra bag makes good use of the battery life per charge, as I can switch out the first bag for a second one and keep right on cleaning the pool. The Pool Blaster can recharge afterwards, and I can rinse and hang the bags to dry for another day's use.

  • Doesn't retain silt
I bought it for remove silt from the bottom of my pool but this filter bag doesn't retain the silt and silt is returned back to the pool water, this filter bag only serves to make the water in your pool look cloudy because the only thing that it does is mix silt and water, it doesn't hold silt.

  • Not the same as the original
This net does not trap debree as good as the original filter that comes w the unit. This is more of a mesh product where the other is more of a cotton like product that traps really small debree. All though this net feels more durable because the cotton like filter already ripped on me after 5 uses. However i still feel the cotton like filter did a better job. Also, this is smaller in size therefore smaller capacity. Great to have as back up but will be buying cotton like filter for better cleanup. ... show more
