Description
What should I do if the fan cannot rotate when connect the chiller to power? Please check the parameters setting of the chiller, you should make the target temp and temperature difference in certain range that the chiller can work normally. e.g., target temp=65F, d=2, the chiller will keep the water between 65-67F. Why the chiller cannot cool the water? First, check the temperature probe, the probe should be put fully into the water. And the cooling effect is closely related to the water volume and room temp, you can tell us your need in detail for further suggestions. Why the chiller start and stop working at incorret temp, not based on setted temp? It may be the malfunction of the temperature controller. If this problem occurs, we will resend a new controller for you.

Great price so far so good. Does its job. It does “freeze up” and will stop working so have to watch it. You just have to turn it off and let the ice melt. Very happy with it.

DO NOT BUY!!! (update)
Bought in July, used for 3 months and I can't seem to contact support so I am writing this review in hopes for a response and to you warn you away from this product. I use it for hydroponics and set the temp to 71F, after some time it will freeze and continue to try to cool, no warning or anything. After a few times it will die. For the price, it is not worth it, it's a POS!!!!!! Update: Seller contacted me and offered a full refund (pending), making this right by me. The unit should have some sort of alarm when flow has stopped flowing due to ice buildup.

Great Cooling Unit, BUT .... (updated) ..GREAT Customer Service
Unit performs well and does the job I bought it to do. Keeps hydroponic water at 69F. using very little electricity as there is no refrigerated chiller involved. Quite is a relative term. When fan is operating it is easily heard. MAJOR issue with me is that I have one question that would have helped me utilize the unit better, but no way ( that I found ) to contact a human to ask them this question :/ UPDATE: The company did reach out and contact me via email. They answered my questions on the unit. Above and beyond that... when the ballast went out after about a month of use, they very promptly (in a day) sent me a replacement at no cost. They were quick to address this issue, and performed true customer service that is above and beyond. I will definitely buy from this company in the future. UPDATE TWO : I have bought another larger chiller unit from this company. Also have had another above and beyond customer service experience with this company, as they sent me a new Peltier cooling block for my smaller unit many months after purchase. Timely service. Excellent customer care. I will continue to buy from this company.

Waste of money, stopped working after 6 months
I bought this chiller 10th August 2025 for my 16gal aquarium. It has stopped working 3rd of March 2025. Firstly, it stopped pumping the water back into the aquarium, water was leaking from the unit and freezing the tubes and caused a flood on my wooden floors causing a flood. Not sure if it's the pump or the cooling unit. The fan is going though. This unit is under warranty, however, I am not sure how to go about, whether I should contact Amazon or the seller.

I like that there’s a one year warranty. It does take a while to cool when the reef lights are on, but it doesn’t go above or below what I set it to.

Worked for a month
This product only worked well for a month, but it has started rattling when it kicks on and seems to have trouble keeping up with the cooling after only a month of use. While it worked, it was worth the cost, it was quiet and kept a stable temp, but now I am stuck with a poor system and out the money because return window closed.

Works great - Puts out some heat.
Used it for a small 16L tank, 80-85º ambient temp and the chiller had no problem keeping the water around 68º. It did however put out quite a bit of heat from the unit itself, just something to keep in mind. Especially if you keep it under your tank in an enclosed area... It's going to get hot, quick. The pump that comes with it is trash. Switch it out ASAP. Not enough to take off a star since you can just use any pump with it but... Just be aware, it lasted me all of a month.

Works great!
I think it depends on what you need this for as to how well it will work for you. I needed it to keep my 16 gallon saltwater aquarium 76-78 degrees because it is an enclosed system and runs hot. It works great for that!
