It works great, easy to use and seems to be very resistant. I recommend to start by 3 degrees less and follow the thermometer, raise little by little to your desired temperature. The temperature settings are not 100% accurate. I like that it is black and blends in easily.

It frequently turns on and off, which it shows with a green/red light (It is not heating in the picture). It keeps the tank warm but not too warm. It says it is supposed to be 78 degrees, and it keeps mine consistently at 80, which isn't a problem for my Betta fish, but I just thought I should point that out. I like that there is a little plastic "cage" around the actual heater part to keep the fish from touching it. I would recommend it.

I’ve had this heater in my betta tank for about two days now, and so far it’s been great. I was worried it was going to be too big for the tank but it fits well on the side and doesn’t get in my fish’s way. It was super easy to install, and I like that it has a preset temperature so there are no complicated buttons or dials. The heater pretty constantly adjusts itself and the light turns from red to green fairly often, but the light isn’t bright enough to cause a disturbance. I really like that it came with a thermometer sticker—it helps me make sure the temperature is staying at around 78°. My fish has seemed pretty happy to have warmer water; he’s definitely been more active. I’m going to continue to keep a close eye on it but I love it so far, and it’s perfect for a desktop tank!

I'm a first time fish parent. I have 3 dogs lol but never had any fish of my own. I just got this Betta about a week ago and he hasn't been eating his food. Like he would eat a piece of food and then immediately spit it out. I looked up what could be wrong and something google said was that the water might be too cold. I stuck my finger in there and it was super cold!! So I ordered this little heater and it came in the same day. I've only had it for a couple of hours, but my fish seems so much happier! I tested the original water and it was 64 degrees so im super happy with this purchase. Within an hour and a half, his 5.5 gallon tank was heated to 78! He's swimming around and ate every pellet of food I gave him. Clearly it works well, fast, and seems durable. It's a good size for my smaller tank and I think it will hold up nicely!

I am so happy and relieved to have gotten this affordable heater. I’m a first time fish owner and my original heater malfunctioned and the temp would constantly fluctuate 10 degrees and killed my betta. This heater has been consistent from the get go and now I don’t have to constantly check the temp every time I walk by. It’s affordable and works I am very happy with it.

Works great. Just plugins in, makes sure it’s completely under water and it suctions to the glass easily. Place the stick on thermometer on the outside of the glass and the water stays at a steady 87 degrees. Perfect.

This heater was the perfect heater for about 4 months. It kept my daughters 3 gallon aquarium the perfect temperature for her betta. We eventually added a mystery snail to the tank as well and the duo lived peacefully in harmony until the heater gave out. It was only about 4 months in and the heater started over heating the aquarium. We were watching it closely for a couple weeks, unplugging it when it got hot, doing the best we could. Then, it started working again... no worries for about a month, then it started acting up again. Needless to say, with poor communication between me and my 10 year old daughter, her betta got cooked today. The heater got plugged in because of cold water, and forgotten about. When she went to feed her baby.... he was gone. The water was 100°... well over the temperature promised. Directions were followed. It may have been a defective heater. I bought this one after looking at reviews and doing research. We got a bad apple. We are not pleased with it tonight, but we're satisfied for 4 months. RIP Saturn.
