When green light is on, heater stops working and maintains the temperature constantly. It also come with a separate thermometer for real-time monitoring of the aquarium water temperature.
  • Durable & Material: The durable material of the heater ensures safe operation. The outer shell covering the whole body of the heater is made of heat-resistant ABS material that it wont deform and melt under high temperature. The heating rod is made of nickel-chromium heating wire to faster heating rate, and non-corrosive quartz glass.
  • Cautions: 1.Please ensure the heater is 100% submerged into the water before plug in the power. 2. Please unplug the power and cool down the heater for 10-20 minutes before taking it out to clean the fish tanks or change the water.

I’m so glad I got this! I have a 29 gallon tank and the heater in it was not keeping up. It was getting cooler outside here and the heat in the house wasn’t on yet so it was a little cooler in the house. The fish tank which needs to be around 80 got down to 74. The heater was on constantly and was not warming the tank up at all. I bought this and it’s been great. The temperature setting on the heater is a little off, I have it set to 78 and the tank is consistently at 80-82. So make sure you keep an eye on the temperature initially to find the right setting. The fish which had gotten really lethargic when it was cold in there are doing much better. I highly recommend this! ... show more

Accurate Aquarium Heaters!

Bought two of these; a 200w for my 37 gallon South American tank and a 50w for a 5 gallon Betta tank. I am surprised at how good these are at maintaining temperature, regardless of room temperature. They are both within <0.5° of the set temperature (77° +/- 0.5° for the 37 gallon tank and 79° +/- 0.5° for the 5 gallon tank). If anything, they are actually less than 0.5° off, and more likely +0.3-0.4° higher, but extremely close, when read with a temperature probe. I would highly recommend the Orlushy heaters and will be getting more if/when we get more aquariums! ... show more

Heated lamp makes my turtle happy

These heated come in different sizes depending what size your tank is you need to purchase accordingly. Nothing fancy about it looks just like a tube lightbulb that heats up in the water for your fishes or water pets. We have it for our turtle he enjoys being near it since it makes the water warm. It’s safe as long as it doesn’t start leaking any white substance. If this happens it best to toss away and replace. It’s lasted us for a while now so I would say it’s a good item. ... show more

Great value for the price!

These heaters are a great value for the money. I have two of the 200 w in my 75 gallon and both of them working together heated the tank from 69 to 78 within 8 hours. Remember to change your heaters every year.
