For the average computer user this SSD is very reasonably priced and is fast enough writing and reading to use as a main Hard Drive or as a backup drive.     • Really materially improved my laptop performance
I had a fairly recent Asus Vivobook laptop with a 128GB M.2 and a 1TB conventional drive. It worked OK but not particularly great. Replacing the 128GB M.2 with this PNY 1TB M.2 has transformed the machine into really a very satisfying, responsive and fast machine without strange lags or slowdowns. I've had nothing less than great past experiences with PNY RAM cards. This 1TB SSD has followed the tradition very well. Excellent read/write speeds, it's as if I upgraded my CPU! I wasted my time with a top-brand competitor--2 burnouts back to back. So I got a refund and bought the PNY for less. My only regret is not making them my first choice.
