Really thought I was upgrading going from the 30in Masterbuilt 710 wifi, bluetooth vertical smoker..... It is not easy to find a wifi, bluetooth smoker that is electric and uses acual wood chips and not pellets. However, when the smoker arrived and we unboxed it, the top of the front was dented which we had to fix just so the door would seal-ish....there was also a dent in the back near the vent which doesn't cause any issues with functionality, but when you buy a product new, you expect it to be new. And, since I brought up functionality, why would anyone think that putting the heating element on the sides of the chip pan would heat the wood chips enough to create enough smoke from the wood to actually be a "smoker"? The chamber heats very well, which would be excellent if it were an oven, however, it's supposed to be a smoker. My husband has been smoking meat to perfection for over 30 years and never had this many issues. I am highly disappointed, I thought I was upgrading the smoker and making his life easier by getting the larger smoker. Not only was it damaged and had to be fixed before the first use, now we have to try to find a way to fix the design flaws so it will actually smoke meat. Not great....unless you are able to fix design flaws and are able to basically re-engineer it to make it more than a glorified outdoor oven. ... show more

Nice smoker
Really nice smoker. The lathing for the door had to be modified in order for the door to stay shut. Really like the double temp thermometer system

Not happen try to sell it
Hard to set the temperature only the bottom roll Cook the rest of them took too long very disappointed wish I hadn’t thrown away the box cause I’ll be sending it back

Excited to use often
Easy to set up with 2 people. Perfect size for large smoking projects. App set up was easy though my specific model wasn’t listed, but it still works.

First: Assembly was a nightmare, and I’m mechanical. Then, after the first use, the pellet tray was so stuck that I had to pry the front open, destroy the tray and the rails is goes in, cut myself on the sharp metal edges, and spend 42 minutes on the phone with customer service only to be told, “no replacement, but we’ll send you a bunch of parts so you can waste even more time on disassembly and repairs on a BRAND NEW expensive smoker that now looks like it’s been hit by a truck. DO NOT BUY A PIT BOSS. UPDATE: Never received the promised parts ... show more
