This is a good first paddle. Purchased 11th July, using it for around 5 month now and still working fine. I purchased when it was only sale and the price was a motivating factor. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a paddle if it didn't play pickleball a lot. I play around once or twice a week every week. For the price, I would recommend as a starting paddle.
