I’m a more aggressive player—I hit hard, drive the ball, and put a lot of pace on my serves. I was hoping this paddle would become my new budget-friendly go-to option, but after only about three weeks of use, it seems like the core is failing. The sound when making contact has completely changed. It no longer has that solid, crisp feel it had when new. Instead, it almost sounds like squeezing a plastic bottle, as if the core or sweet spot has broken down internally. Because of that, I’ve lost a noticeable amount of power and consistency.
