Definitely happy to use an ammonium free product and the color is holding up well. Disappointed that in the listing no good pictures of end hair color and descriptions not accurate either. I ordered a light golden blond(my usual with US brands) and it was very dark for "light" so not happy with the color. Want something lighter and seems like there might not be such a choice. ... show more

I tried the shade 5 light brown. It was darker than expected but covered the grays plus it didn’t fade with wash. I wish they would come in cooler tones since all shades seem to be on the warmer side. Overall it’s a pretty good quality product plus it doesn’t smell chemically.

I have dark brown hair with a bunch of greys sprinkled in. I was worried a 'natural' pigmentation hair color won't be able to truly give full coverage, but I am pleasantly surprised that it did. Also, it smells SO much better than the ammonia-based colors, didn't at all burn/itch/tingle my scalp (which other box and salon colors have done to me). I purchased light blonde #8. The color was more ash brown, so it was alot darker than I wanted. But I do like it. It gave me a lot of different highlights. It just was not what I expected.

I have dark brown hair and I had old blonde on the bottom half. I was worried that the blonde would turn out a lighter color, but it was all even. No strong chemical smell and did not itch my scalp.

I liked that it doesn't smell like hair dye. The first time I used blonde and it covered pretty well but turned out to be dark brown color. Used golden blonde and while its a nice color , it didn't cover gray roots well at all. Which was whole point of dying again. Bit too pricey.

I’ve been dying my hair for 40 years, both in salons and at home. I’ve even bleached. But something happened 4 years ago that caused my to be very sensitive to hair dyes. I get big itchy scabby things on my scalp and little itchy pimple like things on my neck and ears. I thought I was going to have to only get my hair professionally done until I tried this dye. It’s not the deep rich black that I used to get, but it’s a good black that doesn’t have a blue or red to it. I find that I have to make sure I completely rinse it out of my hair and I shampoo my hair daily for the next few days. I even used the developer that came in the box. Before, for home dyes, I would buy a sensitive skin developer to use with the dye. The only downside is there were no gloves included. I mix this in a bowl and apply with a brush. I didn’t find the smell to have that strong at home dye smell. I have subscribed to this. I was initially turned off by the price. I was used to paying $10/under but in my situation it’s a lot less than going to a salon. ... show more
