Let me add my note to the difficulty in setting this up with Stamps.com. I finally did a search for the name of this printer and stamps.com and ran across the other review here. I wish I had seen it sooner. I was on the phone with tech support at Stamps.com for 2 hours and spent an hour plus on my own. It would not print. Now it works like a charm after finding that Stamps.com had a 9/2022 page on the setup for this printer. The printer is good.... but the waste of time was absurd. THANK YOU for the other instructive review posted for this. Using that and the stamps.com page (which tech support did not know about and did not find out about for nearly 2 hours, it took me 15 minutes to install the printer.

Update: thank heavens for smart spouses! My printer is fine. The power cord just wasn’t fully seated in the printer. 😅 It’s still going strong. I also found that if I shut off the printer BEFORE unplugging/plugging in to/from my laptop I don’t have to re-install the driver. Initial Review: I bought this to use for my Etsy business. Initially it worked wonderfully despite a slightly confusing initial set up. I used it nearly every day but never to the point of overheating or anything. It sat for maybe a month and when I tried to hook it up again, nothing. No light, no power. I tried it in different outlets to the same problem. I think it has died but I'm not sure why or how. Sooo, take this with a grain of salt. Maybe yours would work better for longer? Pros: it works well. Printed clear and nice labels for my business. Cons: I had trouble getting my computer to create labels of the correct size for this printer. Each time I unplugged it from my computer, the driver was deleted for some reason and I had to reinstall. My troubleshooting for this was to turn off my label printer BEFORE unplugging. Then I had no issue.

I couldn't get it to work. The customer support was super nice but I just couldn't get it to work when I changed from the 4x6 to anything else, and I didn't want to have to call them every time I changed the labels (which was going to be multiple times a day)

I bought this label printer in Dec. 2020. Tried just installing to my iMac without reading any instructions and getting a driver off their website. That didn't work out so well; the print quality was terrible and the sizing was off. Checked out their YouTube video showing installation process and realized that the driver I downloaded and the driver they installed in the video weren't the same. It also wasn't available for download on their website. I contacted their tech support via email and about a day later received a reply with a link to the proper Mac driver; at the time they said it was still in beta because the printer was new. Once the proper driver was installed, all went well. I played around with the printer options - speed, spacing between labels, etc. and set those as default. I set up templates for printing from Word, InDesign and Acrobat, but also prints fine from browser-generated labels (appear to be PDFs) from UPS, USPS and Amazon. The price of the printer was so reasonable, it was worth the fiddling. I now have the luxury of printing with a dedicated label printer that'll never run out of ink and not having to deal with my laser or inkjet printer.

Never got a chance to use it. Ad stated it was compatible to Linux, instructions said otherwise. No directions at all for Linux system. Had to return it. So I really can't say if it is good or bad.

The label maker itself is very easy to use. Instructions are provided and there's also really good tech support. I haven't personally used their whatsapp support but I predict it'll be faster response than email. I have had experience with phomemo support before and that was a good experience. for the label printer itself, it comes with 1 roll of paper. it's already sticky so it makes the labeling process so much more quicker and easier (especially when packaging multiple packages at once). quality is good, for the sake of printing labels for packages at least. im not sure about using it for non label printing. I definitely recommend this for heavy users/those who print multiple labels frequently!

I ordered the label printer because it seemed like a simple set up for both Mac and Windows...Windows is obviously much easier; you can use the usb stick to install and you're done. For Mac, you have to go to their website and download the installer; for us, we also had to adjust some of our download security in order to have the installer appear. After that, it took some time for us to figure out how to get the label printer to actually print a 4x6 label - we are unable to change the settings to 4x6 in our normal printer settings, and when we chose 4x6 when printing off of Pirate Ship, it printed a teeny tiny square on our label. We finally figured out what settings to use, and that it's better to print the pirate ship labels using Safari instead of Firefox (pro tip for anyone else stuck). Otherwise, happy with the purchase..they provide a few labels to start with, but if you'll be printing a lot, be sure to just purchase a roll in addition because you'll burn through the included pack pretty quickly.
