I bought this umbrella last year and it was fantastic. I bought it this year thinking it would be the same. It does the same thing but it’s more expensive and the quality has gone down. It’s still a great umbrella just not as good as it once was. Putting it together is different, the fabric is wrinkled. The switch is in another location. Nothing dramatic just not as good. I would never buy this umbrella unless you are OK with the color fading to an unrecognizable color and then getting absolutely no customer support. We bought this two years ago and only after one summer. Did the product go from Navy blue to light purple! Unbelievable especially since they specifically say the umbrella is fade resistant. I texted customer support through Amazon and got a email back the next day saying that the umbrella is no longer warranted and fading is very normal and actually they told me to keep it out of the sun when it is not in use whatever that actually means. I responded that, they misrepresent the product on Amazon‘s own site and then got another email back saying that they’ll give me 5% off a new umbrella! Actually, all I was asking for was a replacement of the fabric even offering to pay for it! When I got my third response that they don’t have the fabric separate from the umbrella this is not an insignificant purchase price and when you are certainly trying to create a nice outdoor scene with the right colors, everything we have on our pool furniture is navy blue, this does not work. I’m not gonna say anything about it being made in China because so is my iPhone and I love it, but I think the response from customer support was absolutely inappropriate especially when I’m offering to buy a new fabric. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, I don’t care what color you get it is going to fade into an unrecognizable color. And the worst part is you can’t do anything about it not even offered to buy a new fabric!! Wow. Amazon should really do something about this.

We’ve bought a few patio umbrellas before, but this one is definitely the best so far. It’s huge and gives amazing shade — perfect for sunny days. The setup was super easy, and the base design with sandbags makes it really steady even when it’s a bit windy. The lights are such a nice touch at night, and I love that they’re solar-powered, so there’s no need to mess with any power cables. The whole thing feels sturdy and well-built, and the color looks beautiful in our backyard.
