I’ve been searching for a patio umbrella that could actually cover our entire deck, and this one is exactly what we needed! Let me tell you, it’s incredibly large and wide—way bigger than I expected, which is a huge plus. This umbrella is a good size. It is longer than it is wide, so it’s good for specific type areas. If you have a long dining room table outside, this would be perfect. It seems like good quality canvas. And I like the turning mechanism which seems to work well. My only complaints are that the solar lights do not turn off with the sunlight. They will still be on in the middle of the day if you don’t turn it off switch off. Which is a little inconvenient as it drains the power and then it come night you have very weak lights if you don’t catch it. You have to turn them on and off instead of just relying on the sun to kick them on and off. The other thing I would take a star off for is the base relies on sandbags. I know that it helps with the shipping not to have a heavy base, but we have yet to get those things filled with sand because you have to go to a place that carries the sand and I have not had the opportunity to do that. It’s a little inconvenient. Right now we have a plant sitting on top because the wind has already blown it over a couple times. Other than that, this is a nice attractive umbrella. But if you want one that has lights that come on automatically as the sun goes down and off as the sun rises, this is not the one for you. Also, if you don’t mind filling the sandbags, this is a good umbrella. I haven’t tested it with the sandbags in it, but I know it has flown off the base a couple times or the whole base has topped over with a little bit of wind. So you definitely have to have that grounded with something. I would prefer a base that is just stable enough out the box. That said, it’s a decent looking umbrella. If you have a long and narrow space, this is a good shape. I probably should’ve gotten something a little more square but nonetheless, it’s serving a purpose.

Garbage umbrella, this one with lights. The pockets that hold the poles need to be sewn, so that they actually hold those poles. Fabric is very thin. The fabric for the hole is not hemmed. Await the coming fabric rip. I literally thru out the last one. Having no idea I would be buying the same garbage. Amazon should not be selling this crap umbrella. Pro Tip, There are seamstress who know how to make a decent large fabric umbrella.
