Features

  • SAFETY-FIRST PROTECTION - TRIPLE-LAYER REDUNDANT SYSTEM: Looking for a reliable automated cleaning solution? This unit features a triple-layer safety design focused on feline well-being. The 7 pairs of precision infrared sensors provide full-coverage monitoring, while the touch-sensitive safety pedal enables responsive interruption upon contact. A mechanical limiter helps restrict rotation, supporting safer operation and providing added peace of mind for pet owners during regular cleaning cycles
  • APP-FREE RELIABILITY - SIMPLE OPERATION: Prefer a simple, straightforward operation without complex setups? This self-cleaning litter box operates independently - no app downloads, no subscriptions, and no connectivity concerns. Designed for senior pet owners and anyone who prefers a set it and forget it solution
  • STRATEGIC CLEANING LOGIC - MINIMIZES PANCAKING AND SMEARING: The cleaning cycle is engineered for a cleaner litter bed and efficient waste management. A built-in clumping delay allows litter to fully solidify before rotation begins, ensuring thorough waste separation. This strategic approach helps minimize pancaking (bottom-sticking) and smearing (residue streaks on walls), addressing common challenges in automated systems
  • SUPERIOR LITTER COMPATIBILITY - OPTIMIZED FOR CLUMPING LITTER: Designed for flexibility, this unit is optimized for widely used bentonite and mineral-based clumping litters. The system is engineered to be compatible with a broad range of standard cat litter supplies, allowing pet owners to choose their preferred brands without being restricted to proprietary litter types. Great for budget-conscious households seeking a functional system that works seamlessly with traditional clumping litter
  • EASY MODULAR MAINTENANCE - SENIOR AND MOBILITY FRIENDLY: Designed for easy access and care, our unit includes a dedicated access step to provide a stable, assisted entry path for senior cats. The modular, quick-release design allows for tool-free disassembly in seconds, effectively solving deep-cleaning pain points like sensor cavity dust and residue buildup in seams

  • HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Color: Dark Grey
I did research on different auto litter boxes and this got great reviews. I saw it on Facebook and thought it was just another one of those cheap things that dont work. All auto litter boxes I have seen are 400 to 700 dollars or more!! I love this thing!! And the price is fantastic!! I have three cats and all three use it. I had to leave the old litter boxes out as it took them about three days to use it. But once they started using it they started choosing it over their other boxes and I think because it cleans it automatically and cats dont like their boxes dirty. I LOVE that it is open top. I have one cat that is skiddish and I thought it might not be good for her to be so open, but come to find out it makes her more comfortable because she's not enclosed in a space where she can safely get away from the other cats if she's feeling vulnerable. She loves it!! It is also VERY quiet. I love the little step ladder as it helps them get in and out. I have one bigger boy that doesn't jump well and it helps him out as it sits high. Id buy a second one if I needed one! But it does great with my 3 cats. I've already recommended this to a few friends. I've had it for about a month now and my other litter boxes are completely gone!! Its suuuper easy to clean, super easy to set up and oppperate and super safe for the cats. Love that it gives them 60 seconds to leave the box before it starts cleaning, so it doesn't scare them. AND the box below is basically sealed so you dont have any smell. I would recommend to make an XXL one for bigger cats as they can tend to throw litter out the box. But I have a mat under it and then just pick it up and pour it back into the box. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! ... show more

  • PetPivot Open Top Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box
Color: Dark Grey
The PetPivot Open Top Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box is a solid choice for cat owners looking for a reliable and affordable automated solution. Designed with simplicity in mind, it’s easy to set up and operate, making it a great option even for those new to self-cleaning litter boxes. One of its standout features is the open-top design, which provides a spacious interior that most cats will find comfortable and non-intimidating. The large capacity also means fewer clean-outs, saving time and effort in day-to-day maintenance. Despite its functionality, the unit remains reasonably priced, offering good value compared to many higher-end automated litter boxes. Performance-wise, the PetPivot does a commendable job with odor control. When used with the recommended bentonite or mineral litter, it effectively contains smells and keeps the area fresh. However, it’s worth noting that it doesn’t perform as well with tofu or crystal litter, so sticking to the suggested types is important for optimal results. Safety is another area where this litter box shines. It includes infrared and Hall sensors that detect when a cat is nearby, automatically pausing the cleaning cycle to prevent accidents. The added anti-pinch protection provides extra peace of mind, especially in multi-cat households or homes with curious pets. Overall, the PetPivot Open Top Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box offers a reliable, user-friendly, and budget-conscious solution. With its effective cleaning, thoughtful safety features, and spacious design, it’s a practical upgrade for maintaining a cleaner and more convenient litter routine. ... show more

  • Made Me a Believer! This Thing Works Great!
Color: Dark Grey
The only other automatic litter box I had was worked abysmally, so I had sworn them off. I also have friends who invested in Litter Robots and said that the newer models break quickly. After seeing the advertising for this one on FB (and it being on sale) I decided to give it a try. It's amazing. So far, so fantastic! It comes well packaged, and all you have to do is insert its legs, put the bag in the receptable, slide in the bin, and plug it in. Voila! We just adopted a new cat and he took to it right away. I thought I would have to sprinkle catnip inside to entice him, but he used it quickly without prompting. He also likes to watch it when it cleans, lol. It does not make much sound when cleaning and if he peeks in to see it while it's cleaning -- it stops immediately. That makes me feel better, because that means he won't get caught in it by mistake. The design and function of the unit is really simple. As soon as your cat goes, it gives the dome about a 1/4 turn back and forth to cover up the waste with litter (to minimize the smell). Once it clumps (in about 5 minutes, I think) it quickly rotates. The clean, un-clumped litter goes into the holes at the back, the covered solid waste drops into the bin. The bin rolls back around, and the bottom of the unit suits atop the bin and covers up any smell. Genius. I have back issues, and it is SO nice to ensure that my home will smell nice and clean without having to scoop three boxes twice a day. It works so well I'm buying another before the sale is over. If you're on the fence -- don't be. Worth every penny and then some! ... show more

  • Works Great and Cats Love it!
Color: Dark Grey
I had 2 similar automatic litter boxes, but they were faulty. One would stop mid dumping and you would have to manually push the button to make it continue. It bit the dust and has been thrown out. Now the other has stopped auto dumping and I have to check it several times a day and push the button to make it go. When I brought in the PetPivot, the setup was so much easier, and so far a couple of months in, there have been no issues. My cats love it! They actually started using this one more than the others. Now that we are down to 2, they have started using them almost equally but still leaning more toward the PetPivot. I love the bin and how it had a "lid" that hold the bag in place. The others could get the bag caught when pushing the bin back underneath. I also like the step that is removeable. We have another separate step for the other unit. I am soon going to replace the other with a PetPivot as well. The price point is good. ... show more

  • Quality, no smell, works like a dream... Cat's use it!
Color: Dark Grey
This is our second PetPivot. The firs tone is an 11. The improvements in the bag insertion has me thinking of buying another 12. The price was fantastic. It makes cleaning the cat box incredibly easy. No smell, either. Can't say enough good things. We bought one of the original round self-cleaning cat boxes... I hated it and the cats got scared of it. The PetPivot is relatively quiet and the cats barely notice it within a day or two. All three of my cats use it without a though. ... show more

  • Big difference
Color: Dark Grey
I think the BIGGEST difference with this litter box is the open-top design. Unlike some automatic litter boxes that can feel too closed, bulky, or intimidating, this one feels easier to approach and more natural for the cat. The size is also really nice because it feels roomy enough without taking over the whole area, and the entry step is a thoughtful touch that makes the setup feel more practical. Honestly, I was a little unsure at first because cats can be SO dramatic about any change. Mine acted like I had completely ruined their life for about five minutes lol then got curious and decided it was acceptable. After that, the transition went better than I expected. So far, everything has been working well. It feels stable, not flimsy, and I like that it stays in place nicely. I’ve also noticed that odor control has been pretty good so far, which makes a big difference in keeping the area fresher. My recommendation would be to add some of your cat’s usual litter at the beginning so it feels more familiar. Overall, everything has been going well so far, and I’m happy with it. ... show more

  • Great value for money Great value for money
Color: Dark Grey
We have been using a PetSafe automatic litter box with crystal litter for about 4 years. It was good, but we found litter crystals throughout the house and our toddler liked putting them in their mouth (gross.) That box was showing its age and the crystal litter was pretty pricey so I wanted to try out an auto box that uses regular litter. After a bunch of research, I decided to go with the AS12. Setup out of the box was very easy any both of our cats learned how to use it with no issues. I like that the AS12 is smaller than what we’re using and is also quieter. My only gripe is that the issue of reducing litter tracking doesn’t seem to be resolved. There is always litter on the little step down from the box and I’m still finding that I have to sweep or vacuum in our laundry room where the box lives once a day or so. I will fully admit that this might just be a learning curve for the cats or that we still haven’t found the best litter to use (about to try some corn litter that claims to track less) but I wasn’t expecting to have to clean around the box as often. My goal was to clean LESS often and as of writing this review, that isn’t the case. But I recognize that might just be situational to my cats and the litter we use, and no litter box can control how much litter sticks to their paws. This is mainly just a reality check for anyone moving from a crystal litter automatic box to a regular litter auto box- you will likely need to clean more. Very happy with the performance of this litter box though! ... show more

  • The machine works, I'm impressed, could use improvement.
Color: Dark Grey
My wife decided to order this and I let her. I wasn't exactly a believer in these, but I wanted to see how they were made and how they function. This is an interesting solution. It does work. But it could use some improvement. Our youngest cat of our three cat household does like to throw litter outside the box. It's part of her personality. So I put a small kennel tray underneath the step and that catches all of the litter pretty much. I use a broom and sanitizer after emptying the waste tray. It holds a full day's waste for all our three cats. It has to be emptied daily in our case. But it has cut my workload by half. That's a good thing. I notice some residual "pieces" remaining in the litter that aren't sifted by the sifting apparatus. I think making the grid pattern just a bit narrower might catch these and expel them into the waste tray. I don't know how much r&d went into this. The sensors work well, it's easy to "reflush" when needed. I note that the urine clumps sometimes stick to the liner of the litter box. I have to manually scrape these off and then "reflush." The liner doesn't seem to be as slippery as it could be, looks to be a heavy vinyl piece. I am genuinely disinclined from emptying. This thing and cleaning that out. Looks to be a rather nasty job. I'm sure I will have to do it sometime soon. There might be a better engineering solution out there. Otherwise, for the price, this has saved me a lot of time and money. Manually scooping is sometimes necessary here and there, and this triggers the machine to go through its flushing cycle. Not a problem. Hopefully the machine will last a few years. Longevity is unknown in this particular model. It's quiet, the motor seems strong, and sometimes I do have to sanitize outside the box just a bit because things get messy with cats. This may not work well with sick cats, or cats that have copious urine because they're going through kidney failure. Failure. So we're maintaining a spare old style box in case that happens. ... show more
