I'm building a home and loved the look of this light in my front entryway but was worried it would be too big for the space. My ceilings are standard 8' high but I had a recessed ceiling put in at the front entrance, which allowed me a few more inches of space to hang a fixture. I did measure and try to visualize the fixture before buying but it was just one of those situations where I had to see it hung before I could decide if it looked good or not! My fiance assembled the fixture and said it wasn't too difficult. My builder installed the fixture so i can't attest to installation. But it's definitely large! Thankfully it did fit in my space and looks great. Everyone who has seen it so far has complimented it. I chose this orb light over others because it matched my flooring exactly. I do wish I had taller ceilings so I could have a longer chain- the chain length used here is about 5-6 inches. I bought the recommended light bulbs in day white and love the light it gives off for the space. ... show more

Beautiful light! Had to get a replacement because center pole was broken when received, no issues with seller to get new item. However the cord and ground wire that need to feed through the pole do NOT fit through… had to rig it to make it work, but even with that i love the light and it was a decent price so spending the time and frustration to pull some wire wrap off to make them fit was ok to deal with. ... show more

I was super happy to finally find light fixtures to replace the boob lights in our kitchen. Unfortunately, these are terribly made. While I was putting the fixture together, the metal tube’s casing split. So now the fixture body (where the bulbs go) swings loosely within the light fixture. How do you sell something that breaks while being put together according to the instructions? I would not recommend this item, nor anything made by this company. ... show more
